After all, as a ‘Puff, I have the patience and persistence to make it happen.” His grinned widened and he leaned with his elbows propped against his knees and brows creased slightly. “’Give back to the community’? My, Madam Tucker, I’m quite hurt to hear that I am nothing short of a charity.” He placed his hand over where his heart was supposed to be.

“You would buy one from me?” The head girl inquired as she eyed him, finding this a bit suspicious but intriguing, “And where would you be drinking responsibly? Just in case I deem it worthy to check in on you.”

“ Well, that or I’d be indebted to you so I can grant you a wish like those Muggle stories go. ” The Badger’s lips quirked into a tiny and disarming grin, feeling a bit like a Slytherin for the first time in his life. “ Somewhere secluded where I cannot cause mayhem, maybe ? ”

Edith chuckled to herself as the younger man complemented her,”Thank you, dear. If I could pick favorite students you’d be mine.” She didn’t think picking favorites would end well so she just had some she liked a little more than the others.

“But you wouldn’t.” He gave her a knowing look. It was an admirable trait; not everyone in their fine institution could say the same thing. The blond young Badger scooted closer to the edge of the bed. “Madam, why did you choose to work here than St. Mungo’s?”

While the boy changed she hid the tint of a blush by thinking about her boyfriend. The student was definitely easy on the eyes and Edith wasn’t asexual. She nodded a bit once he was changed,”I’m a nurse to start off so I think it’d be easy to tell that I really care about the students here but I see your point, Mr. Bones.”

Alex met the slightly older witch’s dark eyes with his own and smiled faintly. Though the House of the Badgers was not usually known to claim fame, their Head was greatly admired by his fellow ‘Puffs due to her kind nature. Himself, especially included. “And that is why you are my favourite staff here, Ma’am.” He grinned cheekily at her.

Once they arrived at the infirmary Madam Tucker flicked her write with the wand she held in her hand at he closet and a pair of scrubs that’d fit the student and they barreled towards him,”You’re very welcome, dear. I’m the head of your house. It’d be immoral if I didn’t help!”

When he was decently clothed by the wardrobe provided by his Head of the House, Alex sat on one of the many beds in the infirmary and the embarrassment he was feeling ebbed away as the minutes passed by. “Well, I don’t know. People have different definitions of ‘immoral’ here, Ma’am.”

He followed the mediwitch towards the Infirmary, casting bashful glances at the lingering students who were witnessing his current state. “But still, thank you Madam.”

Kai laughed in reply, unable to keep the amused expression off his face before gesturing offhandedly to Alex’s bare chest.  ❝ Well, I mean—if you insist then how could I say no to saying such poetics ? How does it go ? Shall I compare thee to a summers day—thou art more hot and muscles defined. Pretty sure that’s how it went.” The blonde grinned. “What do you say, Bones ? How often do you work out ?”
