A rant about me being like the only 24 year old that doesn’t seem to be in a hurry to “settle down”

Why is everybody in such a rush to get all shacked up with someone; get engaged, married, start poppin out creatures (children) left & right all before the age of like 25..??? Do you not want to at least be financially stable before even thinking about all of that? Do you not want to travel the world—with someone or by yourself? Do you not want to have a few (like 10) more years to yourself? To develop yourself fully before you even think about sharing the rest of your life with someone & then creating another life on top of that?? Like seriously, I’m so fucking confused at the “logic” of everyone settling. And I say ‘settling,’ not “settling down” because I feel like people are literally just settling to fall into this domestic life because “everybody else is doing it..!” What the actual fuck. I don’t know why this really bothers me so much because I know it’s none of my business & whatever floats your boat & all that but shit.. I can’t even imagine dealing with all of that at the point I’m at in my life right now. I’m just barely making ends meet for myself— monetarily, mentally, physically.. add another person & all kinds of other factors in there? No thank you. Am I the only one who feels this way?? Lol
