Why is it that I am there for so many people who don’t deserve it? It’s like I could bend over backwards to try and make other’s feel better and help them with whatever they need by making sure to say the right things. When is someone going to the same for me? There have been multiple times in the recent future when I’ve gone through struggles, pretty serious ones, and I get no help from anyone. I don’t complain a lot and I don’t look for attention much. I don’t ask for much from a friend but I think “being there” is something friends are supposed to do. I feel so alone when I shouldn’t have to. I am still hopelessly waiting for the day when I fortunately wonder upon a person who is just as caring as I am. Someone who will be there for me no matter what and always lend me advice when I need it. Someone who will try and make me feel better when I am down. I am not asking for someone to bend over backwards or drop everything to be there for me. All I am asking for is a friend, a real true friend who cares and listens.
