- The media face many challenges, and there must be strategies that organize the communication process between the media and the target audience, for example, the truth and the public interest. The media has become more restrictive because the truth will sometimes not be in the interest of the public.

In the hearts of certain segments of society.
Discussion
· The continuous exposure of the population to a massive infusion of information, news and opinions is an enormous educational challenge in the electronic and digital age and assessing the sources of information requires critical thinking skills, skills that can be taught and much less sophisticated than the materials taught by students in schools. The most important of these skills:
- Separate the truth from the opinion.
- - Text and image evaluation to reveal bias.
- Building and dismantling the text based on the principles of logic.
· Discussing issues in various media outlets and trying to understand them and knowing the strategies necessary to deal with them.
· Discussing media issues through the media may have a negative or positive effect on society.
· - The diversity of the sources of searching for information and making sure that it is correct is better than relying on one source of information, and the information may be incorrect.
· We always have to think critically and look at the content differently than usual
Conclusion
Today, people live in an environment saturated with media materials, characterized by tremendous multiplicity, and great diversity, in the various media. We obtain vast quantities of information through the media, whether we want it or not, regardless of its importance or value, where it is found. Many media outlets are not responsible, they do not adhere to any moral, cultural or social values and standards, as these media outlets have not left a field in which they were not included. Media affects us, either negatively or positively, whether we feel it or not, no one is immune from the influence of the media, even a person who is not exposed to the media is affected to some degree, through his colleagues, peers and the social milieu in which he lives.
Media has many benefits for the individual and society when he understands in a correct way by knowing the strategies that the media uses to influence society, but it may be dangerous for some because the media does not recognize the professionalism and speaks out to mislead and distort, which does not stop working around the clock and targets many of the masses that live within Large societies in flaming oceans, which results in a lot of researchers and intellectuals who are aware of this phenomenon, a great responsibility in warning individuals and societies of their danger and directing them towards the optimal ways to receive the correct information.

The media is distinguished from other jobs by the ethics of the profession and the credibility of the media. At the present time, the media faces many challenges due to the Corona virus between providing the public with health information and educating them and not being intimidated and intimidated to give the government sufficient time to control the Corona crisis.
Citizens under health isolation in their homes around the world are following the news with interest about the Corona virus and its developments and should be provided with information that helps citizens overcome the Corona virus.
At a time when the number of deaths and injuries due to the Corona virus is increasing, the media face many challenges, the most prominent of which is the rumors. Radiations spread rapidly in crises, so the media must respond to the rumors, as they have a great impact on containing the crisis. The media also faces a challenge between credibility and intimidation, because through the way information is written and published and the mechanism for communicating it has a great impact on society in terms of intimidation or reassurance, this may lead to pressures in setting some precautionary decisions by state officials to contain the Corona crisis.
We summarize the challenges facing the media in:
· Gain public confidence by providing information.
· Ensure the credibility of the media, so that governments must provide the reports and information necessary for the media to demonstrate their transparency.
· Focus on positive, but not negative, information to contain the crisis.
· Inform the public about what the government and political forces are doing during the crisis.
· Respect the media for the privacy of individuals and avoid deceiving sources and conflicts of interest.
· The media respect the professional standards for news writing, accuracy, objectivity, balance and inclusion through lack of distinction between citizens and expatriates in the statistics of coronavirus infection.
Media is the center of public attention during the Corona crisis, and the media can play an important and vital role in raising awareness of this crisis. The media must be credible, but at the present time, in my view, its primary role for the media is to emphasize the citizen’s interest before credibility and control the passage of information that helps the government and society contain the Corona crisis and create a sense of collective responsibility towards society.
Discussing two hypotheses

Number of words: 305
Hypothesis 1 - Citizens have the right to know:
Today, the citizen has the right to obtain correct and accurate information from its reliable sources. And discussing various issues with more transparency with the citizen, as society relies on the media to communicate the real and realistic picture of these events that happen in the state and confirm health information, the facts can raise people's awareness and may increase the fear and anxiety of the citizen the absence of the official spokesman or source The official helps the spread of rumors and the citizen obtaining incorrect information from unreliable sources that may exacerbate the problem and control public opinion, which may negatively affect the relationship of citizens with state institutions.
Hypothesis 2 - Citizens do NOT need to know everything:
Many governments, especially Arab ones, believe that the citizen does not need to know everything. Each country has its own peculiarities. We must not publish something to the citizens because it negatively affects the citizen and the state. There is a lot of information that should not be published and the citizen does not need to know in the first place, such as secret information related to the state and its affairs, and some economic information such as the details of the state budgets, political information between countries and information Security, especially in wars.
Solutions to balance the two hypotheses
It is better to balance between the first and second hypothesis, that the citizen has the right to obtain the correct information about the country on which he lives, to discuss corruption issues and prevent the spread of rumors and the development of the state, and also there is information that the citizen does not need to know and should not be announced, such as sensitive security information and details of state budgets, And some political information

Analysis the four illustration:
These four illustrations illustrate the deterioration of the world economy in the world, the spread of rumors and methods to prevent Corona virus and the role of the first line of defense in the face of the Corona virus. In the first picture, the large role that the medical sector plays in the face of the Corona virus is shown, as well as the image of a doctor who wears a muzzle and holds an injection to treat the Corona virus. The second image reflects the losses witnessed by the global oil markets, due to the decline in demand for oil and its derivatives during the past months due to the closing procedures in various countries of the world after the outbreak of the Corona pandemic and the need for people to stay in their homes. The third picture shows that rumors and misinformation spread through social media are more dangerous than the Corona virus, which helps spread the virus and not control it. The last image shows the best way to control the Corona virus and protect individuals from it today, which is a message to stay at home. These images have no manifestations of racism and have a clear message.
Why I selected these four?
I chose these pictures for several reasons, including all the pictures have a clear message from the painter, conveying the idea and the event was an easy and simple way for all members of society in different cultures and scientific levels, near the subjects of the images from the community, the lack of methods to incite against a certain face, all pictures with excellent quality, all pictures Purposeful and help us to protect ourselves from the virus and know the effects on the world.
My understanding:
In my opinion, the art of caricature has the ability to communicate the idea of writing and journalistic reporting superiority. Caricature art has various types depending on the purpose of its creation, including social caricatures that emerge through issues and contradictions of social reality, political caricatures (which is the most common) and its purely provocative mission to criticize political reality. Local or global, cartoons play a big role in educating the community about the limit of the spread of the Corona virus.

The role of media in health education
Health media, which is a specialized media that shares with the public media many characteristics, but is distinguished by its focus and specialization on the health field, including news, data, information, health statistics and awareness programs with the aim of serving the public health of society as a whole, by educating individuals and raising their awareness for the purpose of changing their behavior and habits, especially in the case of spread Diseases within the community, as well as the implantation of social customs and traditions that would support and develop the healthy aspect, such as exercise, healthy nutrition and healthy habits.
The role of media in health education, in crisis situation:
By containing the repercussions of the crisis, the role of the media in managing this crisis, whatever its security, economic or health nature, is mainly to reassure members of society and work to remove any negative feelings that may result from them, and to educate the community about sound customs and guidelines to contain the crisis and address rumors Associated with it, especially if it is of the type of emerging corona virus, which since its announcement in Wuhan, has sparked a state of anxiety and panic that is still interacting in all countries of the world.
The role of media in health education, in prevention:
The media has a great role in raising awareness among people, their interest in their health and changing their behavior through awareness campaigns and health TV programs that help the viewer know the seriousness of diseases and how to prevent them.
My understanding:
The media not only provides us with information, issues around the world, and events happening around us, but also provides us with health news and community awareness by:
1- Publishing health news and information, providing health statistics and data, and analyzing them.
2- Carry out activities that aim to raise health awareness and instill healthy behaviors in individuals and societies.
3- Conducting research and studies in various health fields.
4- Enhancing the partnership and communicating with other media sources and various media institutions and benefiting from their experiences in providing the correct information and warning against rumors and misinformation.

Hate Speech

Title: Hate Speech
How to identify hate speech in media content?
Discrimination and hate speech can be known via the internet and social media by knowing the discourse that incites violence, or the spread and promotion of hatred, or even taking harmful action towards an ethnic or national group away from objectivity, so that content appears prejudice and intolerance towards race, gender, age or disability.
Is its free speech or hate speech that is practiced?
Incitement speeches with their various forms are among the most controversial topics when talking about their relationship to freedom of expression, and how to separate the legal expression that is considered a human right and the illegal expression that incites hatred. In some countries, hate speech is considered an expression of opinion and a human right and some Countries considered hate speech a crime punishable by law. There are international standards for separating hate speech, incitement, and freedom of expression permitted
Look at it particularly in social media and related to the corona virus?
The social networking platform "Twitter" is witnessing a record increase, by 900% of hate speech against China and its people after the outbreak of the Corona virus, according to a report conducted by the company (L1ght) specialized in measuring hatred on the Internet, where US President Donald Trump stated through his Twitter account that the Corona virus As the "Chinese virus", and in a press conference in which he said we are witnessing important developments in our war against the Chinese virus.
The understanding:
Freedom of expression is a necessity and a right of human rights, but according to certain criteria and a law that deters hate speech and incitement. I personally considered that hate speech and incitement is not freedom of expression as it is touched upon by some like America because it infringes on human rights and is considered a form of distinction and in the absence of means Social communication and the absence of the law that regulates freedom of expression of opinion will increase racism and hate speech between groups and individuals.

Title: Selfie and narcissism - fame online copy
Number of words: 260
In the concept of fame in the past that no one can be famous except when it is really worthy of fame and in the right place, as it was difficult to obtain and there is no way for that fame other than the TV screen to see the celebrities, as well as in newspapers and magazines.
With the presence of social media and modern technology, fame has become accessible to everyone, the young before the big, the failed before the successful, the naive before the conscious.
Although the word "selfie" is associated with us with the personal images that we take on our smart phones, this concept may be older than what we imagine, so every work or artistic portrayal, whether it is a personal portrait or a work in which man appears in it refers to himself, it falls under the concept of selfies.
There are several reasons why celebrities can post their photos on social media:
First: Attract attention and get others to see us, acknowledge our existence and evaluate us with admiration, here selfie works on narcissism and selfie surpasses other means of self-affirmation on social networks such as status updates, writing posts, etc, to the extent of intimacy Selfie and its connection to the self.
Second: Communicating with others. Through comments and likes, communication occurs, the subject of which is very intimate, opens opportunities for creating new relationships and the weight of already existing relationships Selfie, the human need for the social practice that he expects whenever he publishes his own image is satisfied

How media outside Oman present race, gender (Male, Female, third gender) and class?

Topic: How media outside Oman present race, gender (Male, Female, third gender) and class?
Number of words: 300
Race in media:
It is an idea that emerged with the Nazi movement in the early nineties, that some media indirectly distinguish using sophisticated methods, as was the custom in animated films to which children are exposed, we find 99% of superheroes or beautiful women with white skin, while Black characters usually occupy less intelligent skin or conceive of bad guys.
GENDER (MALE, FEMALE & 3RDS) and Class:
The image of women appears in the media with two main images. The first is the stereotype of the style of excitement and pleasure under the title of "model", or any other name in an attempt to focus on the physical image and distorting the image of motherhood.
The second picture is the image of the woman whose role is limited to raising children and obeying the husband, and she is a woman who does not discuss nor argue, but weaves women's plots as envisioned by us as Arab or Turkish drama and may go beyond him to the West as well.
The man represents strength, courage, responsibility, domination and is used in films and advertisements.
The third type, the media continues to present them well and considers them to be minorities. An example of this is Netflix for films and series, which presents them well and supports them.
About Oman:
In the Omani media, there is no difference between men and women, and the media are trying to show that they are equal in rights.
The third type is not mentioned in the Omani media and is not recognized as the third type in the country.
The Omani newspaper published an article in 2013, story entitled " Strangers” about a gay man living in the country, and the Omani government intervened to suspend the newspaper’s publication.
