I enjoyed this BL so much. I finally got to properly watch Yusuke star in a drama. I dropped Mr. Unlucky Has No Choice But to Kiss after just a few minutes into the first episode due to my annoyance with the main character. Recently I tried again with the BL and wasn't as bothered as before. It definitely had its cute moments. But usually can't stand cutesy, comedic BLs. Yusuke looked different in Fake Fact Lips, I was unsure if it was him at first. His nose looks refined. I hope he didn't get plastic surgery, completely unnecessary. I was also skeptical of the competition premise, but it's handled fine and doesn't interfere or hinder the couple's development. The main characters were fine as well. Ryo was better than Zen and was the catalyst of their romance. He's a beautiful character inside and out. Ryo actor, Hori, was in The Journey to Killing You. I was intrigued by him then, and I'm so happy he's in this. He did a great job, and looked comfortable with all the intimacy that his character initiated. Doubt any other BLs released this year will top this for me.
