If you think BBC's In The Flesh series is just another zombie TV show, you probably wanna think twice and give it a try.

It's so much more than that I mean lets just give a quick look at the main undead we see in the 1st season: 

Kieren Walker: A boy on his late teens who couldn't handle his life without his "best friend" and decides to take his life, now he's a rehabilitated undead and lives with his family again.

Rick Macy: Kieren's "best friend" who decided to join the army to try to get away from his father and died in battle, when he comes back as an undead he finds himself with a father that denies his condition and discovers that kieren killed himself after he left. 

Amy Dyer: She died of leukemia and came back as an undead; she's Kieren's hunting partner while they were both untreated, after the treatment they meet again and end up being good friends. She decides not to hide her condition and go all naturel instead, this gain her unwanted attention and end's up leaving town after she get's attacked for not wearing her blending makeup.
