I just spent the past 25 min hearing this dudes story, Jamal. He came out of nowhere and proceeded to tell me parts of his life. He has Autism. Has been homeschooled since 6th grade. He's 23. Wants to go into the military, says he'll find his wife in the military. Is bipolar. Takes his medication. Has never met his biological father. His mother has a restraining order against him because he has anger issues. His stepfather beat him with a 2x4 when he was 12, almost died. Loves white women. He's dated one colored girl. He's waiting until marriage. In the midst of all the information he point blank asks me "You know God right". It wasn't so much a question, which surprised me, but it opened the door for me to speak. He left, heading for the bus, just as quickly as he arrived. I'll never see him again. But hopefully I said something within that conversation that will help change the course of his journey. #godisgood #mylifeisfullofmomentslikethese #blessed #taketimetolisten #workingonforgivingmyownpast
