With all the discourse surrounding Alchemised you'd think someone would point out that Kaine is trapped in his sixteen-year-old Undying body for the entire beginning of the flashback and how absolutely incensed he gets when Helena is like "no thanks that's kind of gross" when he tries to be all suave at her. Big mad. The maddest. Not his fault being near-immortal has physically trapped him as a wet teenager until he gets forcibly aged back up to his normal twenty-something self after the array experiment.

You gotta wonder if he explicitly wrote "make me age normal please for the love of all that is unholy" onto that thang before they carved it into him.
