Polar bear with a very important job.
Turned an ugly little sketch into a cute little penguin.

Yep, I'm Already Mentally Here, Procreate, 2025
Still art blocked. Saw a cat food ad and thought I'd try a black cat.
I have art block. Do ghosts even cast shadows?
Creature Art Teacher Inktober Day 1 - Game, Procreate
I did a master study in Procreate of Franklin Carmichael's October Gold for a couple of Patreon challenges. (Original on right)
This was for a Patreon monthly challenge to redraw an older art piece and see how you've improved.
Made the first one in 2018, and finished the second one today.
I know the perspective and poses are different, and the tone has changed a little, but A: I was not at all comfortable painting people back then, and I'm a bit more comfortable now (just a bit), and B: back then, the intent of the painting was about trying to let go of my grief, but the new one is about accepting that it is just not going anywhere, is it. And that's okay. Also, I have a thing for bucks, I guess. I just really like drawing antlers.
Anyway, I feel like my color choices are getting better. And I like how I'm experimenting with texture. I've also come to learn that the entire body does not need to be in frame.
Watch me redraw the second one in seven years when I know how to draw clothes.
Her name is Daisy.
Elk, Procreate, 2025
Last art of the year. May 2025 be filled with lots of hugs.
Continuation of my animal kids series. Christmas Kids. Had to split them into 3 images (like a triptych), because they're teeny-tiny when they're all together.
Timlapse videos can be found on my YouTube channel.
Traditional watercolor version (left) of the digital lion (right) I painted last week. Man, I love the digital version, but that traditional version is the best watercolor I've ever painted!
Lion, digital watercolor in Affinity Photo 2 for iPad, following a Nathan Brown tutorial. He provided the sketch.
Study (-ish) of Gordon Laite's witch from Rapunzel.
