♡In this AU the war between humans and monsters occured during the regency era (early 1800s) which heavily inspired fashion and culture after the monsters were sealed underground.

°regency era fashion and muted colours are especially popular amongst women

°balls are often held by the royal family as a way to bring a sense of hope and normalcy to the citizens of the underground

°growing interest in literature and poetry

°Intense apprecitation towards visual arts like paintings and sculptures

°characteristics of romanticism such as interest in emotional depth, nature, romance and individuality are also a big part of the culture in the underground

°Most of these cultural impacts are inspired by The Queen (Toriel) who uses them as a way to remember life before the war

The AU is mostly focused on the Dreemurr family (mostly Toriel, Asriel and Chara). The story starts when Chara falls into the underground and gets adopted by the royal family.
