Could Iguin have lived in the time before the pact?

Okay, that sounds dubious, but here's what I think:
First, their incredible mastery of magic—they definitely outshine their brethren in brimmed hats:
They fly without sylph slippers
Another brim's shoes/Iguin's shoes
2. They easily dispelled Euini's curse (note that Sasaran couldn't dispel it himself, so I assume he won't be able to dispel Euine's curse either)
3. They can teleport (Sasaran claims to have freed himself from the shackles of his physical body, but as we know, that's not true, and Iguin simply teleports)
4. They created a massive labyrinth-city (!!!)
5. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think they wrote (drew?) an entire book (One of the characters said that the book Iguin gave Coco was homemade)
And secondly, don't you think it's odd that Iguin wears a brimless hat? He's the only one with a brimmed hat… maybe he was even one of those who made the pact, and then something went wrong? (Sounds doubtful, but it's possible!!) Judging by what we've seen, there's a certain element of madness in their character
And thirdly, I can't be sure, but I think in one chapter, Sasaran was clearly interested in Romonon's magic, while Iguin seemed completely uninterested. Moreover, the Inis scold Sasaran and tell them to leave. So it's either disinterest or mission priority
By the way, if what I wrote in the last post is true, they can't heal? Maybe Iguin wants healing magic to return?
And then there's this shot
Not a single familiar brimmed hat. Maybe these are hats from previous generations?
Interesting detail!! In chapter 28 of the manga, in one of the frames, you can see something like a bandage on Iguin's arm

The only thing that seems odd is that the "bandage" is only visible in one frame… does that mean it's a mistake? Or is the mistake because the hand looks normal in the other frames?

I was just thinking… it's interesting that Iguin doesn't seem to be hiding his identity, he's hiding his eyes.
In many frames, the lower half of his face is clearly visible.

In fact, despite all this, Iguin can still hide his identity/age/name.
A couple of possibilities for how he could be hiding/misleading readers:
An illusory body, similar to what Beldaruit showed.
He simply appears young for whatever reason, but is actually old.
A simple false name—the one he introduced himself with or another.
Technically, he might not even be human.
These are all possible possibilities, but to me, they seem like unnecessary complications. I feel like if everything had been so complicated, there would have been more hints.
Also, he just went and introduced himself… it doesn't seem like he's particularly concerned about hiding his identity, so I don't think this character is one of the ones we've been introduced to before. Also, Sasaran also called him by that name, so it's probably the correct one
Iguin in Japanese (as far as I know) talks about himself in a neutral way and one would think that he is actually a woman, this would certainly be an interesting twist, but I don’t think so, the physique does not look like a woman in my opinion
Is it possible that Pierro's real name is Eftirvit?
This character was mentioned in a dialogue between Rhinedottir and Hroptatyr as "Vice-President Vit". Rhin says that Vit envied Hroptatyr because he himself missed the opportunity to become president of the Universitas Magistrorum. In the same dialogue, Hroptatyr notes that if king Irmin hadn't been such an extremist, he wouldn't have gotten his position, which should mean that Hroptatyr nominally agreed with the king's views.
Pierro was a royal mage around the same time as the sinners. As revealed in the artifact, pale flame mocking mask, he failed to win the king's favor. Also, as far as we know, his symbol in the Fatui is a weeping mask, while Hroptatyr was depicted as a laughing mask. Overall, it creates the impression that there is some kind of rivalry between them? They are somewhat… opposite? …Or did I just imagine something that isn't there? :D
I think for me what makes the whole DLC schtick of Miq the kind/promised retcon so goddamn hard for me to accept, is the fact that so much of the base game regarding Miquella, alluded to him being the Tarnished's benefactor....
Just like:
Torrent being the most obvious, even in the DLC there is nothing discrediting Miquella from being Torrents former master, and so it is super interesting that Torrent would choose the Tarnished as their newest rider.
And then that leads into the whole Ranni interaction, where she gives us the Spirit Calling Bell and especially the three Wolf spirits(remember the statue at farum azula? I do fromsoft doesn't) specifically entrusted to her to give to the Tarnished from Torrents former master i.e Miquella!!!!
The ring which summons Torrent is specifically referred to as a "delicate goldwork ring" and Miquella was regarded as a craftsman, and made the unalloyed needles as well as Malenias prosthetics/weaponry
And if we defeat the Grafted Scion, the only thing we can do is be lured by the Nascent Butterfly's to a faulty cliff which starts the game and leads us to meeting Torrent
The Bewitching Branch being the only Demigod sanctioned item in the character creation segment....... (like fr miq being the very FIRST demigod you learn about from the character creation makes me crazy)
I just.... I'm just.... I feel like I'm clinging to nothing but strings with these connections in the base game... and then the whole DLC with the Miq/incest plot making me feel like I'm being gaslit into believing that these plot points don't even exist....
But fuck they DO EXIST. Like Gowrys entire quest with Millicent and the needle has him saying, "Oh yes, whoever crafted this needle had a clear grasp on the very essence of life," and just.... I hate it because it's there.

I cannot for the life of me make a new character and play the game fucking raw without Ranni and Gowry and even freaking Melina being like "Here's a blatant reference to Miquella and the connection to him" only for the DLC to be like "Yeah actually none of that means anything"
And just... it's so incredibly frustrating 😞
I can literally see the BONES of what Miquella was originally supposed to be. It's there. It's all THERE. Miquella's love for Malenia, his wish to cure her. Miquella's adoration for Godwyn, and his wish to grant him a true death. And Miquella's Abundance and just... everything he was supposed to be....
(like fr lmaoooo even in the online messaging system the allusion to Miquellas Abundance IS FREAKIN THERE 😭)
Miquella's entire connection to Torrent and so too his connection to Ranni, the fact that she specifically reserved the Bell and Wolf Spirits for whoever Torrent chooses as his next master, the fact that Ranni KNOWS Torrent.... And for it to go nowhere in the dlc....
BUT AT THE SAME TIME!!!!
The overwhelming evidence of Miquella being Torrents former master and the DLC doing nothing to disprove that, makes Miquella wanting to kill us so goddamn jarring.
It's just... Okay seriously think about it: Torrent CHOSE us specifically, then Ranni has stuff to give us from Torrents former master, and then everything in the base game and even the DLC points to Miquella being associated with Torrent.... And yet now Miq wants to kill us even tho he asked Ranni to give us the Summoning Bell and Torrent choosing us as his next master....
AND I JUST H U N H????
and dont even get me started on Godwyn 😒 absolutely hilarious how the only other characters connected to him are either Miq, Ranni or Marika, (ranni killing him, marika shattering the elden ring bc of his death, and miq wanting to revive him) and then the entire dlc is like godwyn who???? here's some cheap lore despite fortissax being awesome where his personal guard doesn't care about their lord but only his cursed corpse 😒
I'm sorry but I seriously can never accept the DLCs writing for Miquella even when I try and do mental gymnastics for it to make any kind of sense... Because at the end of the day, with all the base game lore regarding Miquella and everything the DLC tried to put down, it will ultimately never make any sense to me.
Finished Song of the Welkin Moon, Act II yesterday and one thing I haven't seen people talking about yet is how the shape on Rerir's eyes resemble how we first see Vedrfolnir's "body" in Caribert?
Khaenri'ahns have their signature star-shaped pupils, but I can clearly see a crystal in chains too - the slit pupil being the crystal, whilst the highlights (and what supposedly were the four-pointed star ends) are stretched out in a similar fashion to the chains.
Which is, to put it lightly, very interesting. Rhinedottir's eyes were different, but since she fused with Naberius, this might be why. Now I wonder about the other Sinners...
