yesterday night i was playing the recent "new rock by the water" pokemon romhack, which gave me nightmares about drowning in a big body of water, just for me to be woken up by my mother in a panic screaming "THE HOUSE IS FLOODING COME HELP". we managed to stop the water before it did any serious damage to the house, but this feels like a genuine creepypasta at this point

update now that the two people I played it with woke up, one of them had a nightmare about something bigger than them controlling their every action, and the other had a nightmare about their dog drowning because of someone else.
