I'm surprised I was able to get this far into the 2020's without needing to ask for mutual aid but here we are 💔

Local dentist saw a shadow on an x-ray for an unrelated visit and found bacteria eating away at my tooth and skull thats been happening for years. It hasn't been spotted until now because I wasn't showing any of the associated symptoms.

I need multiple surgeries to get the remains of the front tooth broken into pieces and removed, the bacteria scrubbed off, a bone graft applied to my skull, an implant installed and of course a new crown manufactured and screwed in.

They urged me to do it as soon as possible or else it will get worse.

anti-fatness is not just body shaming.

anti-fatness is discrimination. anti-fatness is having next to no legal protections for being discriminated against. anti-fatness is being denied housing, jobs, receiving less pay and promotions (legally) because of your size. anti-fatness is being denied access to clothing, seating, transportation, and other human rights because infrastructure has been designed to exclude you. anti-fatness is less likelihood of receiving a fair trial. anti-fatness is dehumanization. anti-fatness is being denied necessary surgeries, but not surgery that amputates the digestive tract with the intent to starve and shrink you (it doesn’t work either). anti-fatness is mutilation. anti-fatness is being subject to torture devices that bolt your mouth shut. anti-fatness is being told by close friends, family, and professionals that you are better off living with an eating disorder or other life-threatening illness. anti-fatness sells you starvation as a guaranteed opt-out of oppression, but doesn’t tell you that bodies will always regain weight to survive. anti-fatness blames and punishes you for failing at an achievement that is quite literally impossible. anti-fatness is a $90 billion dollar industry. anti-fatness is being denied gender-affirming care. anti-fatness is being barred from in vitro fertilization and reproductive healthcare. anti-fatness is being barred from adopting children. anti-fatness is being removed from your loving parents because they couldn’t make you thin. anti-fatness is intentionally starving your own baby so they won’t get fat. anti-fatness is disproportionately high suicide rates. anti-fatness is being killed at the hands of medical neglect and mistreatment. anti-fatness is the world preferring a dead body over a fat one.

i just remembered something: in 1st grade, my mum made me go to the cinema with her to watch a movie i didn’t want to watch: Die Wilden Kerle 3 (literally “The Wild Dudes”), which is an apparently at the time popular german Boy Movie for Boys involving tough manly Boys who do Boyish things such as football/soccer and driving motorcycles and not liking icky weak girls. i’ve always hated all of those things, and my mum knew that, but she made me watch it “because all the boys watch it and then you’ll have something to talk about with them”. even though both of my friends at the time were girls. and as expected i hated the movie, and only remember that it involved motorcycles and one scene where a boy and a girl fight in a cage or something. i never talked about it with any boy afterwards, or girl. but looking back at it now it’s fascinating that my mum made me do something All The Boys Do even though, or rather because she knew i hated that stuff, in hopes that that would make me fit in better with The Boys

also, i just queried a so-called webbed site commonly referred to as “You Tube – Broadcast Yourself™” for it and apparently someone uploaded the entire movie. and literally, no joke, i clicked on a random time in the playback bar, and what’s the very first thing i see of this movie? a hairy man in a pink dress and pink handbag and pink high heels stumbling towards the camera, which the boys (and audience) of course find funny and call it circus-like, which reminds one of certain recent statements of certain horrible chancellors

that’s yet another piece of media from earlier in my life that i now discover has a Man In A Dress Joke in it. it’s everywhere. there’s no escape. you will laugh at the hilarious Man In A Dress, you will be scared and disgusted of the dangerous Man In A Dress. you will hate yourself for being the Man In A Dress. everyone will hate you for being the Man In A Dress.

anyway, that’s another interesting discovery that i’ll incorporate into the currently 177 pages long coming out document to my parents that i’ve been working on for the past half year

Sure, I can do that! I always forget that people who are new to my comics might not know who everyone is. (￣︿￣)

Most of my characters come from a comic series called Kauane Comics. It's a collection of short stories about everyday life, relationships, and the little thoughts that come up throughout the day. The stories are a mix of lighthearted humor and more introspective moments.

All of the characters you see in my posts are from that series. The main cast is Kauane, Nikki, Bernardo, and Akira. Their stories take place in Brazil, so a lot of the comics are inspired by Brazilian culture and everyday experiences.
