“So, maybe I’m just being a little nitpicky, but does this place always give off the heebee-jeebees feeling? I mean, I’ve spent hours in the catacombs of Paris and still didn’t feel as—” the blonde paused, gesturing a strange hand motion with her fingers to describe how she felt. It made sense to her, but probably not to anyone else, honestly. “—yeah.”
The woman’s voice was like someone running their fingers down a chalkboard in Alina’s mind, but she clenched her jaw tight and looked away. It was clear she didn’t know anything about the supernatural, and in an effort to keep that from the blonde, Alina forced out a smile. “You know, it’d be best for you to stay inside. A lot of creeps and weirdo’s out at night; you never know what they might do.”
