Alright folks, so here’s what’s going on: This is set before the events in the game. In my mind, Athena met Muriel through Asra when he was still a gladiator. His wounds were getting worse and worse and Asra asked Athena for help since that was her expertise. To say Muriel was upset would be an understatement. They only met a couple of times after, under the same circumstances, and they never really..talked before. Back then Athena was way too intimidated by him, not to mention completely in love with Asra.

Things changed after the Red Plague.
