That was a good question and Aline would demand the answer to it if her throat wasn't so sore, if her brain didn't feel like mush cooking up inside her skull. Is she sick? Vision settles just enough for her to find some few hospital-like qualities to her room, but it's still not like any she's been to before and she had been to plenty.

She moves her head from one side to the other, shifts her body uncomfortably underneath the sheets. They're thin and the room is cold but she's still sweating like a pig and would rather if there was nothing touching her at all because everything is sticky and hot, someone get her hair off her face, please.

"I tried to leave" Things got a little out of hand at some point, after the first hour in M.Massive Asylum passed she started to notice that the the rooms they were escorting her to were localized deeper and deeper into the facility and the people around her begun to replace their ties and pens for guns and batons. The lady standing next to her bed sports a couple of those features, no gun that she can identify, but Aline still can't really. Feel at ease.

At some point she had said something like nevermind my stupid brother, i'm leaving, forget about it, i’m going home.

Somebody laughed and said that stupidity must run in the family then.

"What happened?" After that she can't remember much so she squints her eyes and throws the question back at the woman. "Am I in the hospital?"

There's amusement in her made-up face but she can't tell which part of the conversation sparked it. Aline grimaces and she can feel her dry lips crack.

“What kind of hospital?"

Heart starts pounding in her chest as Aline starts to link loose ends and hope honest-to-god that this is a nightmare.
