MajorĀ Fern Gully vibes in our living room
Pretty surreal:Ā Our weddingĀ at Shakespeare on The HudsonĀ is on Martha Stewart Weddings! Iām still in a bit of disbelief they featured us but also incredibly honored. At long last, Penny finally gets her moment of fame! Check out the full feature here.Ā
Gave our bathroom a little makeover! Painted the dresser navy blue and added brass hardware from Rejuvenation, then wallpapered the walls with this zippy pineapple print from @riflepaperco-blogĀ and Hygge and West. Ā
Last night, my friend Laurie Carroll and I attended Marie Kondoās first independent event ā hosted at the Japan Society in NYC. Needless to say, I think weāve both drunk the KonMari Koolaid (although we sheepishly admitted that weāre both a long way from tidying our apartments).
Living that Pantone life at The WhitneyĀ
A dose of cuteness to combat the Mondayās, courtesy of @designsponge.
Lounging around atĀ Helix Sleepās NYC showroom with Felicity Sargent and Mark Molle yesterday.Ā The snuggle is real.Ā
A bedraggled Penny, post-rainstormĀ
In honor of Throwback Thursday, I couldnāt resist posting this photo of my sister and I dressed in homemade ancient Egyptian costumes my mom made for us (sheās an Egyptologist, in case youāre wondering!)
According to historian Michel Pastoureau, green has been a symbol of life, luck and hope, but also disorder, greed, poison, and the devil. I mean, with a legacy like that, no wonder it's my favorite color. (Psst. Thanks toĀ Schoolhouse Electric for replacing our damaged armchair so quickly!)Ā
Dreaming of a beautiful A-frame cabin in the woods
Oh, to be back in Palm Springs
How stunning are these illustrations by Meagan Morrison of TravelWriteDraw? Canāt believe itās already been a month since we were in South Africa and Botswana, and now Iām already plotting a way to return next year.Ā

This Catskills home on And NorthĀ is the stuff of dreams, no?
Every week is Shark Week thanks to this bad boy. (at The Bakeshop By Woops)
