ā Not all those who wander are lost. ā
Ā» Alistair Blake Ā» Thirty-two Ā» Werewolf Ā» Travel Writer Ā» Stephen Amell
Physical Appearance ā
Alistair tries his best to take care of his appearance. Obviously itās easier within civilization than in the middle of a rain forest or on a mountain. He keeps his hair short but styled and likes to keep a little scruff on his jaw too; but never goes full beard. A clean face appears when he gets a little overzealous with a razor. Clothing wise Alistair is casual, jeans and t-shirt kind of guy. Though he happily wears shorts and flip-flops if the weatherās good enough.
Alistair is clearly a confident man, but he is not so confident that heās arrogant. Thereās a laid back sense to him that makes him easily approachable, and the constant smile adds to that. His posture is relaxed and his voice carries charisma. Overall, heās an easy going guy who just wants to explore the world and meet everyone in it.
Personality Traits ā
⦠Adventurous, compassionate and level-headed ⢠Boisterous, domineering and vain
Biography ā
The last but certainly not least of the Blake brood, Alistair came into the world as the youngest of four siblings. A big brother and two big sisters. Al had one hell of an act to follow, but he soon came into his quirky little personality that would make it clear right away. Alistair was one for the theatrics, and he wasnāt going to let being the youngest stop him from taking centre stage.
Growing up, he thoroughly enjoyed both being pranker and prankee, though he could never keep up with his mischievous older brothers. Though he later grew out of it, opting for sports instead to take up his spare time, especially when he was a teenager. Through friends such as these he started to explore more outdoorsy activities such as rock climbing, camping and caving. It wouldnāt take a genius to figure out that his physicality would take him somewhere into that field when he grew older, especially as he wasnāt the most academic of his siblings.
Being part of a big family, it wasnāt much of a shock that they didnāt get to go away on vacation very often. Taking a family of six on vacation was expensive, and it left Alistair thirsting to explore further outside of his home town. So really it didnāt come too much of a shock that once he had finished High School that he scooped up all his savings from working at the local diner, packed up his things and headed out to see the big wide world. Heās pretty much been gone ever since.
The world was so big and so amazing, and Alistair started to document his time abroad. With the age of the internet, he started posting online to blogs and made little videos here and there and started to gather himself a little following. Soon enough, he realised he could be making money out of this and go to even more interesting places! His career kicked off from there, and itās not too much of a surprise if you see his face appear in a nice wholesome segment on TV about some exotic part of the world. His theatrics in his youth apparently played off, it turned out that he had a knack for presenting.
It really ought not to be a shock that during adventures like these that Alistair wound up meeting some unique people in life, but one thing that truly took him by surprise was the one that he met cutting through the woods one night heading up a hiking trail. They were twisting and contorting, screaming in pain. Being the good Samaritan Alistair tried to help, even called in a rescue for this poor soul⦠And all he got to show of it was nearly losing his life. That person changed into a wolf before his eyes and almost ripped him to shreds, so by the time the rescue party arrived, all they found was Al on the trail. The wolf nowhere to be seen.
Alistairās been a werewolf for six years. In his first year he struggled immensely, unable to understand what he was and how to control it. Through luck more than judgement he found himself in Salemās Point, and under the watchful eye of Cassidy Gautier. She helped him understand part of the world that he had never experienced before. He thought he had already seen so much in his travels, he had no clue there was another layer beneath it all.
He spent a good year within Salem back then, and as he grew more comfortable and confident, he decided to move on again. His lifestyle of travelling was his job after all, and heād been semi-absent for a long time. Career suicide really, but it didnāt take him long to get back into the swing of things. Only this time on his travels, he looked to dig deeper. Alistair followed his nose, quite literally, and began unearthing this new world. He found werewolf packs in Peru, a vampire coven in Serbia, witches thriving in Tibet.. It was incredible. Obviously these things were cut from his blog, but heās learned so much since.
Alistair still drops into Salemās Point, popping in to see how things are going. Heās never there for particularly long before heās off jet-setting again. He was here only a short while ago, in time to see the town be plagued by the skinwalkers, but was gone by the time the Thunder Moon arrived as he went off to Mexico to film a TV segment. Heās back again now however, even he can sense that somethingās not quite right in the town and if thereās anything that he can do to help? Heāll be on it.
