Rant incoming...

Hi! 👋😊 I'm Manuela from Austria, 44 years old (more like 16, considering my "Fangirly behaviour" 😅) and I love Movies/TV Series/Anime, Music, Reading, Video Games, Scrapbooking, Journaling and my Budgies. Nice to meet you (again) 🌻 I don't think anyone knows or remembers me… but I thought I'd briefly explain why I started a new account. I've suffered from generalized anxiety disorder since I was 17. I've learned to live with it, but my family has always found ways to "exploit it". I've always felt like I could never live alone… My parents are elderly people now and both have health problems. My two older sisters have completely dumped their care on me. I'm introverted and prefer staying home anyway… great 😑 In 2023 I had a burnout and in 2025 I also developed depression… I warned them repeatedly that I couldn't take it anymore. They wouldn't let up… until I snapped 😭 I moved out. For the first time in my life, I'm living alone… it's a bit strange 🤷 But my anxiety, depression and insomnia have improved so much… I finally feel like myself again ❤️ I missed my old self so much… However, I've noticed that I've developed very negative feelings towards my "digital life". I don't want to use my old accounts or have anything to do with them anymore. It's quite sad, since I loved them and had so much fun building them up. I won't delete them, but I've decided to make a fresh start 🌟
