Firstly, I don’t know if anyone else will ever read this, but this is me keeping myself accountable and recording my journey!
Starting weight: 433lbs (I was a little SHOCKED when I weighed myself for the first time in 4 years)
Lowest weight I ever remember being: 280lbs
Goal weight: I don’t have one because it’s not about that.
Things to know about me: I’m queer, super feminine, love makeup, being outside, and animals of all kinds, I grew up horseback riding, and am lactose intolerant.
I used to be a consistent size 22/24 but that was about 3 years ago and I’m currently at a 30. I think it would be really stellar to get back to a 22/24 and be able to wear all the fabulous outfits that are hanging in my closet and JEANS! I seriously own about 10 pairs of almost and completely new jeans that I can’t fit into. I like to say I hate jeans, and part of me really does, but they’re necessary for riding horses! Eventually, I would like to be around a size 14/16. Now, I can’t actually imagine this AT ALL.... but that would be my ultimate goal- what ever weight I am at that point is chill with me. Mostly I want to be fit- not thin or a certain weight. BUT that size would allow me to buy cheaper and cuter clothes.
(Sidebar- fuck fashion industries for not creating cute fat garb... come’on now)
I plan on using small goals, the gym, friends, my boyfriend, little rewards, and my dogs as my fitness method. AND I really am trying to make this about fitness, because making it about weight seems useless/overwhelming/doesn’t take strength or agility into account.
So here is my first goal, which contradictory to what I’ve said, does have to do with weight: Gett outta the 400lb club. Now, this is something that will naturally happen as I continue to move about and eat in a more healthy way so I don’t have a timeline for it.
My second goal, which will actually happen first, is to work out every day for a month.
My plan is to walk/jog/elliptical 1 miles every day, adding .25 miles to the daily amount each Sunday! This may be foolish, but we’ll see how it goes!
