shoutout to the color red
was going to call red fans “redheads” then remembered that’s taken. considered “redpilled” and remembered all of human history at once and fell into a deep coma
(#shout out to the color red best color with unfortunate associations)

I literally do not care what the Bible says about any political issue. I am not Christian. Christian scripture should have zero effect on my life or my personal freedoms.

i find it a little mean-spirited when when someone falls for a joke and engages with it unironically and the original poster refuses to drop the bit in order to play the misunderstanding for laughs ("smooth sharking"). i've definitely done this myself in the past but i will try to avoid it in the future
my reading comprehension is pretty good but in a real-time spoken interaction i would absolutely be falling for the smooth shark bit. i have no high ground from which to make fun of people for being gullible
I have a big problem with the idea that "person insistently telling people that sharks are rough" is supposedly definitively the caricature of "dude who has a compulsive need to be the smartest person in the room" much more so than "person insistently telling people incorrectly that sharks are smooth". There is no difference in the amount of insistence! The only difference is that one of them is right and one of them is wrong! And people assert their intellectual authority on the basis of flagrantly wrong information all the time!
Surely a bit where you assert false things with 100% unshakeable confidence and laugh all of the people trying to say otherwise out of the room, for trying to bring such naively quaint ideas as "correct information" to the table, is a practice that could never have severe anti-intellectual consequences downstream.
ok holy shit i was looking up the number 1289 because i got it in that wikigacha game. apparently it is what is called an "evil number". so obviously i have to check that out.
ok so. i guess that makes them evil. but apparently the counterpart to these numbers are called. the fucking "odious numbers".
so. integers have two choices. they can either be evil or yucky. that's really awesome

"Evil is so boring, kindness is interesting" cool, 100% agree, why is your go-to quote expressing this handwaving off the Child Torture Closet as insignificant to describing the runners of aforementioned Child Torture Closet
the whole point of girls doing the not like other girls thing is basically them believing that the girls around them lack an interior life. they were raised on depictions of women as shallow caricatures and they recognize themselves to be actual people with thoughts and feelings, but instead of drawing the conclusion that these depictions of women are incorrect, they draw the conclusion that those depictions of women are correct and that must mean they're smarter and have more substance than the "average" woman. to exit the not like other girls phase means recognizing that all real life women have the same level of interiority as you do, and that depictions of women in the media as consistently empty headed and frivolous are misogynistic stereotypes not grounded in reality.
i say all this to say that to exit a not like other girls phase does not necessitate taking an interest in "traditionally feminine" ways of dress and makeup, nor does it mean never saying anything negative about the beauty industry
