Sucks, donât it? The moment you realize you donât know shit.
..
LOLA.
Lola ushered Andy forward, a boy with her complexion and his fatherâs eyes, striking blue clouded with tears. He didnât want to cry, there was no sound, but he offered forward his palms without question. She kept her hands on his shoulders, to press her thumbs into his shoulder blades out of worry.
âHeâs seven â I think⌠I think thatâd be okay, just, not too much,â she was too nervous and ill-practiced with this. She cared for her children since the fever struck, but they had a nanny before and⌠Look, sheâs trying. Lola smiled to Eleanor, enough that she could convey thanks. âHeâll be brave, wonât you?â She peeked past her son, to smile at him. He nodded, resolute.
There was a sad pang to her expression, as she watched her baby try to act like the men within the Sanctuary. Heâs seven, and she can already see that competition and cruelty. She returned her gaze to Eleanor, unsure where to sit Andy.
Eleanor patted the soft ( though mildly tattered ) padding of an examination table, bobbing her head toward it. â Hop up, champ, â she said, affecting a bubbly brightness that overcompensated. Children in the Sanctuary were few and far between -- hell, seeing a child alive in the world they lived with was a rare enough thing. Eleanor had seen a few come through the infirmary, and it never got easier.
As she worked with a syringe, loading it with a quarter of what she would administer usually, she cast a reassuring smile to Lola. â Heâll be fine. Donât worry. â Fine was, of course, a luxury few were familiar with anymore. But she could feel the womanâs uncertainty as though it radiated from her skin, eager to quell as much uneasiness as she could.
She rubbed a patch of the boyâs skin just below his elbow with alcohol, glancing up at Lola. â Have we formally met? âCourse Iâve seen you around, but... â

âAndy wanted to fight one of the walkers on the spikes â he got into the wireâŚâ Lola spoke, her tone empty despite the weight in her chest. âIf you could give me something, anything, band-aids, or⌠Whatever you have, I would be in much debt to you.â
â Here, lemme see those hands. â Eleanor kept a neutral smile on her face, suppressing a wince as she held the boyâs small, soft hands, spots of red coming off on her ill-fitted gloves. She looked back up at the brunette through her eyelashes. â We have plenty of stuff, donât worry. Few guys just got back from a pick-up -- wherever they were, they had a ton of medical supplies. â It was hard to speak on the vulture-like routine of the Saviors so casually, her voice affecting a hint of bitterness. â Couple of these might need stitches. He old enough for painkillers? âÂ
Iâve been apart of the âThe Walking Deadâ roleplay community for about four years now and the one thing that has always been something that kept me from writing was not finding roleplay partners. I am going to be updating a masterlist every day if I can in order to keep it full of active roleplayers - reblog this post so others can see it and so you can be added to the list for people to find you.
I will state here, there is nothing on there to tell you what kind of rper someone is; please read their rules everyone is different so automatically you should assume their writing and portrayal will also be different - no one writes the same.
If you have been inactive for one month you will be removed from the list, you can be added again by reblogging this post. If you have any questions please ask! Everyone affiliated with âthe walking deadâ roleplay can be added, OC/Multimuse and & cisbent characters.Â

NEGAN.
 âWhatâs going on with me?â
Eleanor was one of the good ones, in that she was useful and she was respectful. Not unfalteringly so, fuck no. Everyone had that little curl of defiance within them, ready to spring onto a command they didnât like. But Negan hadnât had much of an issue with her. Shit changed, of course, and he has to pay her a visit to discuss the matter.
âBeen taking note of your charity. Really sweet of you, how nice youâve been to a few of the folks here, a fucking Mother Teresa status...â He sighed, to impress into her space â or, his space, letâs be real. He exhaled through his nose, Lucille held in front of him as he leaned back against the counter.
âIâve been thinking⌠You, at the nursesâ station â seems like you donât do any fucking work, but you still get all the points. Fuck, you even have enough to toss around to the less fortunate. So it has to make me wonder if youâre gettinâ paid too much, with how youâre just handing them out.â
She should have known better than to think word of her hand-outs wouldnât spread through the grapevine eventually, that she wouldnât get called on her shit eventually -- by Negan himself, no less, not just one of his lackeys. She bit down hard on her lower lip as she watched him. Few and far between were the times she had seen him up close, one-on-one as they were. Eleanorâs hand found her necklace, the pad of her thumb running over its five cursive letters gently -- a nervous tick she could never shake. It was a hearty bruise on her ego, that he -- or anyone -- could intimidate her with so much as a few words. Hell, he didnât even have to say anything.
But what had an even sharper bite was his suggestion that she wasnât worth what she was paid. Eleanor liked to help people--however she could, wherever she could, as much as she could. It made her feel good, giving aid to people in a world -- in a âsanctuaryâ -- where being knocked down was the norm. But her soft spot for the destitute didnât mean she didnât pull her weight.
â I do plenty, â Eleanor said, fingers still wringing around her necklace, only managing to stifle down the assertive tone in her voice halfway through. It was a gift that he had given her a position as sweet as hers, even she wasnât blind to that. â I do my share, I always do. It just so happens that I spend my points wisely ---- and sometimes I have enough to help somebody out. Sometimes. â She scoffed under her breath. What do you know about the work I put in, anyway? It's not like I have a fucking charity line outside my bunk. â Iâm not getting paid too much; Iâm getting paid what Iâm worth. â
