“You shouldn’t call people stuff, you know? It’s rude.” - Requested by anonymous
“If my gran sends me another package profiling a·‘nice jewish boy’ she wants to betroth me to I’m going to scream. We aren’t even·Jewish. We celebrate Christmas. And we’re technically Muslim…”
“Betrothals, huh? Isn’t that a bit old -- even within the Wizarding world?” He grinned after the question, taking a seat beside her and reaching for an empty goblet. “I was so hoping, after all -- that we’d get married.”
martaflint:
“i have fallen from a height like this.” marta raised her eyebrows as she acknowledged the boy beside her. the slytherin recalled her quidditch accident in which her leg violently bent the opposite way. “to answer your question, i’d say it’s a bit of both — more so you hear the slap, and you feel the crunch. but if that isn’t enough to satisfy, you could always test it out.”
“Yes... well, not truly fallen though.” Artie sniffed. “They charmed you to fall in a slower speed. From this height would certainly mean death and you...” He surveyed her with a dark sort of humor glittering in his eyes. “--are decidedly not dead. And I am. I will eventually.”
orionrosier:
“How about you take some time to think on it? We’ve got all year to toss brats over this railing,” he assures, winking slyly at the red-headed boy. It was almost too easy to appeal to his desires, even as volatile as he was, and Orion appreciated that. A tough job was never his favorite, Artie unconsciously earning uncommon favour with the Ravenclaw.
“True.” Artie nodded, “Christmas break is on the rise though. I’ll be here, of course. Perhaps, we could try and decide by then?” Anger flickered in those dark eyes momentarily at the thought of Christmas which meant being around his family. His mother’s family, at least. The Weasleys he rather liked being around, both he and his twin did -- but it was the other side, the one that raised them that both shared an opinion on. “If push comes to shove, we can always throw my sister’s cat off. Buggering thing, that.”
wxckedgrin:
With his eyes fixed on the students down below, he realized just how unsuspecting they all were. Here the two sat, discussing possibly forcing someone to jump from the Astronomy Tower, and the passersby had no idea that it very well could be one of them. It was only a matter of time. Olly. The name would have sounded strange coming from anyone but the Weasley. No one knew him quite like Artie did, so he was allowed to call Oliver what he pleased. “Stealing someone else’s wand wouldn’t be too hard–just steal the victim’s. The challenge would be finding one that didn’t react poorly to one of us. I’m sure we could manage though.” He tore his eyes away from the scene below to look at his friend. “We should do it.” There was an eagerness in his voice that made him sound almost desperate.
“You could find some and charm them up here, I’m sure.” Artie assured, nodding at the other. “People don’t much like me, yeah? They find me... annoying. Or! They find me uncomfortable.” He confessed with a shrug, obvious that this bothered him not in the slightest. Arthur was a strange boy, he had never wanted companions. Excitement and freedom from boredom, something that people could offer to him, yes -- he did want, but he could (if he had to) live without. “We should, yeah. Plan it a little more, but yes -- we should do it.”
magicofmaggie:
“I’d rather you didn’t hang around me or that long if i’m completely honest with you.” She said with a sigh. “What did you want to talk about?”
“Okay, I’ll make it quick then! So I wanted to ask about Transfiguration. How long can I keep my rat a goblet? Because after a week, will he die? Do you know? I bet you know...”
oflostfaithx:
“Mr. Weasley! Get away from there this instant!”
Artie rolled his eyes but did as he was told, moving away from the railing and standing before the woman. “Wasn’t gon’ do anythin’, Proff...”
missalicekkelly:
“We’re following these second years. I think they are picking on some hufflepuffs and I want to take care of it bef–wait what? A body?”
“Oh.” Artie mumbled, disappointed. “Clearly I’m on the wrong side of this. Which second years? I’ll help them.”
“Oh, Merlin, don’t talk like that, Artie! I just ate.”
“So sorry, Lu--cky. Didn’t mean to upset! Sometimes words leave my mouth and I just... allow them to.”
cassiopeiascamander:
“Uh… No, I haven’t ever thought about that, actually.” Cassiopeia said, taking a deep breath as she looked down. She looked down at the ground, so many stories below them, and then took a step back from the edge. “I don’t know what you’re thinking, but whatever it is, please don’t inflict your ideas on me. Please.”
“Wasn’t plannin’ on it.” He responded, his tone sounding a bit offended at her assumption -- acting, of course. The young man let out a drawn out sigh and swung his legs back around the railing, placing them back firmly to the ground. “Everything’s not always about you.”
winnieriddle:
“While the best poetry is about love, I hate poetry. It’s just words in some stupid format in order to sound artistic when really a simple I like you would suffice.”
“Actually, no... not the case -- at all. Pushkin put out some rather... raunchy ones that I’ve found I rather enjoy. Not to mention Plath and her dark words. There are both, obviously, and countless others who write on subjects other than love. Poetry is far evolved from just that.”

orionrosier:
“Your pick, mate,” he encourages, looking down to a courtyard of assorted second and first years — all so aggravatingly innocent and pure. Too, while he wouldn’t have truly minded tossing one, his talk was just that — talk, on behalf of the fiery boy before him. A hero as he pretended to be, he’d save the chosen brat in just enough time to save a life and satisfy the curiosity of the Weasley.
“I don’t know if I can...” He whined, slapping both hands to his cheeks, dragging them down slowly. Artie let out a tortured sigh, fulling leaning his body on the railing, arms on either side of him, idle. “It’s so hard. I can’t decide. That one has red hair. And I do like red -- not b’cause of my own, of course. Or maybe b’cause of’t.” He sighed again. “I d’nno.”
