For me Civil War had no impact bc they were never friends, not really. They were always fighting on opposite sides while in the same team. The only thing I cared about was the blatant “STEVE IS RIGHT, TONY IS WRONG AND SHOULD GET OVER IT” screaming at me from the movie. They left nothing in the gray area just another “Tony sucks even though he tries” message as per usual
