So we got a chance to visit one of the famous spots in Baler. Ermita Hill had its own share of history as it became witness to the devastating tidal waves that struck Baler in the 1700s. The families who survived the disaster were said to have climbed up the hill for safety. Today, Ermita Hill (or sometimes referred to as Ermita Park) serves as a tranquil sanctuary for locals and tourists.
