Ugh Mac showed me a commercial of a guy interrupting a women at a service desk and the worker validating him and the woman’s only role in this commercial was to get interrupted??? Ugh I really hate it

In the presence of someone who is anxious and talks a lot to cope with that but she is only making herself more anxious bc they arent thinking before theyre speaking and has been saying crazy shit. I feel empathetic but I’m also like, why don’t you recognize or even know this about yourself? Or even like reading the room…and idk I like this person but we aren’t like close friends where I could tell them any of this without inducing more anxiety

And you'll be like, "That sounds bad." And she'll be like, "No no. It's totally not that bad. It's just a meme. Men say it too. Like if a man does something silly he'll be like, 'I am like those women who do not deserve to vote.'" And you'll be like, "Does that make it better?" And she'll be like, "Well there was one guy who tried to make 'Men shouldn't vote' a popular meme. But it never caught on and also he got yelled at a lot."
