things i wish I realised sooner:

- you don't have to prove anything to anyone

- only validation that matters is from you

- realise and accept your worth

- you don't have to please anyone, so please don't shrink yourself so others can walk over you

- it's okay to say 'no'. you don't have to overexplain yourself to others

- sit with the uncomfortable, it will pass, it's okay <3

- you are stronger than you think

- actually, you are worth all the love and good things in life

- it's okay to stand up for yourself

- you are not a bad person for putting yourself first and caring about your wellbeing mentally, emotionally and physically

- making mistakes means you are human, it's okay to mess up and make mistakes sometimes. learn from it and forgive yourself

- treat yourself like you'd treat your loved ones

- don't limit yourself to any labels or try hard & pressure yourself to fit into any category. keep being yourself, learn and grow

- please don't read, watch/like something just because it's trending or popular and pressure yourself to like it too

- enjoy what you genuinely enjoy—read those 'lame' books, watch that 'cringy' romcoms, series.

- it's okay to like things that are 'not cool' or not trending.

- it's okay to have opinions that differs from others, you don't have to have the same opinions just because everyone says so.

- you are capable of wonderful things.

- your life matters and you belong here <3

- be kind to everyone unless proven otherwise

- most of all, be kind to yourself, because you deserve it <3
