Hi, my (middle) name is Allegra, and it means jovial and lively- as the Italian musical term “Allegro”.

Therefore my blog is, "Jovial for Christ"!

This is my blog, and I’m very excited to be on here and share God’s gospel, the truth and teachings of Jesus Christ, and my experiences as a new-born Christian.

Note: if you don’t like my very pro-life, Christianity-is-spiritual-based, and bible-based opinions, you can scroll on and just ignore me. There’s no need to go back and forth, I love a debate but not harassment and fallacies.

My blog is a non-judgemental, safe space for all Christians, youth and older, tall or shorter, all ethnicities and cultural backgrounds, to share and stand up for their faith.

🤍 I’m sharing my love of God on this platform, and will not exercise hypocritical judgement on those who aren’t followers of Christ, and I hope the same attitude and respect can be shown towards me. I value all with respect, humility, and kindness.

🙏 Curiosity, questions, and all topics are welcome, however arrogance, and prejudice are not. I will stand strongly for my faith, and I do not need to validate it to those who do not share it.

🐑 I post scriptures, Bible Study Notes, songs, art, and cultural topics about Jesus and God, to elevate, praise and worship them. None of what I talk about is to be taken as criticism for whomever’s personal lifestyle choices, beliefs or practices- it is not about you.

🌹 Cultural and political posts will be brief, but scripturally based. Topics such as abortion, homosexuality, transgenderism, governmental authority, and social issues related, aren't to be debated day and night about. I make my point and move on.

❕My page is not welcome to homophobia, transphobia, queerphobia; or xenophobia, antisemitism, Islamophobia, or hate toward other Christian denominations. Nor will I tolerate allegations of hatefulness towards other communities and denominations.

🪖 I don’t identify as strictly conservative, liberal nor democratic. My politics are biblical-based. I'm a Christian first, before I'm a political enthusiast. I supported MAGA and Trump’s party based on their policies, not their personality. I’m open to the failures and weaknesses of every political party, MAGA included. However, my blog is not a space to blare wokeness, MAGA support, MAGA hate, and any violent political rhetoric. I don’t support hate, threats, or virtue-signaling. If such is commented under my posts, I will give one warning. Done again, I will block you.

🪨 I do not aimed to be liked or respected by the masses, as I live for the approval and wisdom of God. If you don’t like that, please, as much as any opinion is valued, keep your condescension and rudeness to yourself. Christian or not, there are boundaries I have.

Pray tonight for our nation's leaders to have wisdom and courage to do what it is right and righteous, to be held accountable for all inequity and replace it with gooe, and for all Americans not to give in to nihilism, despair, or fearful greed but instead to live in humility, gratitude, and generosity, to use whatever we have to be a force for good for our communities and our neighbors. Pray that God works among our people to restore our nation to a culture of hope, love, and goodness.

Our Christ's entire appearance upon the earth was humble, void of honor and glory. He confronted the devil head on and annihilated him with His humility. The devil assumed that he was dealing with a prophet, similar to the ones he had met and harmed in the past. He accomplished nothing, however, because he was expecting to meet earth but instead found himself before heaven.

Pray for the women who are victims of abuse, corruption, sexual assault, and rape in the UK. Pray for the British women and girls, the undocumented foreign women and girls, and the Muslim women and girls, who all suffered under the negligence of the government toward their cases.

There's this huge pressure to make ourselves seem more relatable, and in that more redeemable because then others can recognize our own mistakes in theirs, and have more mercy or pity toward us. Of which we rarely discern. And I think that's the shame we carry a lot of the time. That we feel and fixate on how we may not fit in with other believers; how we compare and contrast our imperfections and sinfulness by how deeply our transgressions and iniquity, one's hammer, had nailed the Christ to the Cross. Forgetting completely why we need the Cross in the first place. While others kneel and repent over the holes in His hands and feet, we measure ourselves by how deeply we could've or did wound Him, and not care to reflect in the joy of Him being Resurrected before us. We hear the blood of our guilt curdle in our ears, and not Him telling us to bear our Cross, and we strain our eyes on which splinters we indented into His skin, rather than fix our eyes on the joy in Him who is our Saviour.

The pursuit of holiness, in my experience, can often be hindered by the vanity of wanting to appear more interesting.

You may have heard the saying "Never judge a book by its cover." While I absolutely judge books based on their covers, I still believe it's important to listen to the metaphor. Just because someone enjoys rock music and dresses in black, doesn't mean they're evil or depressed. And just because someone enjoys pop music and dresses in white, doesn't mean they're an kind or happy. There's no need to label someone before you know them. It's important to remember that every group of people is different, and every person in those groups are different, too. That way, we can better discern and acknowledge wrong and right and can better spread God's message.

YES

God made you this way for a purpose. He made you in His image; He wove you in your mother's womb.

BUT

He also made you to change. The Image of God in you has been broken, and He made you to be transformed back into that image. God made you to GROW and DEVELOP and become the person you were made to be. And that process of growth glorifies Him.

As my favorite quote says, "God loves you the way you are, but He loves you too much to leave you the way you are."
