🤔Recently I’ve used @fabercastellusa #pencils ✏️for #sketching. They glide🛫 over the #paper better and have a smoother feel compared to other pencils I’ve used. Another tool I like to use when #drawing with #graphite is a kneaded eraser. I can sculpt back into the drawing with a kneaded eraser compared to other kinds. I like to go back and forth between #ink and #graphite. ❄️The past several days it’s been down right cold here in #Minneapolis 🏙. The other night with windchill🌬 it got to be -59 F 🥶. We’ve been at home with our little man spending a lot of quality time since his school, and mine, were cancelled. I’ve #sketched a lot these past several days than I have in a long time. I’ve missed just picking up the #pen or #pencil and #sketching what’s in front of me. One of the reasons why I’m able to do this more now is because of my sons age, and another factor is the class I’m teaching this semester is heavily focused on the #figure. 🤩Had a great time taking my Foundation Drawing 2 class to @artsmia 🏛. We were drawing #gestures from Rubens, Van Dyke, Poussin, and Sargent to name a few. 🏋🏽♀️Excited to share that I finally became a grown up🤘🏽 and revamped my website! I can’t tell you how long it’s been an eye sore🤦🏻♂️, to finally get it on the right track feels good.
