I'm Allewyn (she/her), and I've been into Digimon on and off over the years since the early 2000s. I hadn't kept up with it in a long while until I gave the demo of Digimon Story: Time Stranger a try and got hooked!

I adore Vulcanusmon, and my Digimon OTP is him x Monica Simmons. I also love Mamemon and have a CatchMamemon OC named... well, Catch.

fought Vulc on my third playthrough of DSTS and got a couple screenshots of his cockpit thing for fic reference purposes (and Catch gloating after striking the winning blow. in my fic, he suggests that she train at the colosseum to get stronger... he might regret it once she's this strong and can take him out in one hit.)

Found a CatchMamemon I'd never seen before! 🛸

She's in Central Town blocking one of the streets, but only when you first get there and are "gathering information." As soon as that task is complete, you can go farther into town and she disappears.

yet the urge to write him as a himbo is strong. because well... genius and common sense aren't the same thing, and canonically he doesn't seem to have much of the latter.

Started my third DSTS playthrough, taking my time this time and looking at everything. Came across Kuga several times early on, and... he seems perfectly reasonable? He even gets Simmons a drink, so he doesn't seem to have any animosity towards her yet.

In Anti-ParadoX, we see him bitching about her after she scolds him for screwing up, so whatever makes him so resentful towards her must happen while we're in the Digital World for the first time.

I'm still working on figuring out how to write a fic about/involving him and Vulcanusmon...

Even after Jupitermon resets time, the possibility remains that Digimon and humans can reconnect and coexist peacefully if first contact is made between a Digimon who cares for humans, and a human who cares for Digimon. . . especially if that Digimon and that human care for each other, specifically.

Finally updated after two months. Extremely short-ass chapter where nothing happens, but I wanted to try pushing past the writer’s block I have thanks to second-guessing everything about the previous chapter.

And anyway, I think the number of hits is my sign to update... it’s CatchMamemon’s number ❤️

(Also still considering how Catch might fit in to this ‘verse. It might help to have significant interactions between characters that aren’t just there to move the ship along. Also also thinking I should bring in more of the human characters for Simmons to interact with - Asuna of course, but it could be interesting for Simmons to run into Misono and find out that his family is the one Yuki’s living with. And then there’s Kuga, like how Simmons would treat him knowing what he’s capable of but also knowing how jealous he is of her, and how she might try to ameliorate that to prevent a future where he snaps.)

IT HAS BEEN TWO DAYS SINCE I POSTED CATCHMAMEMON this is unacceptable

So here's the Central Town glitch again. This time a CatchMamemon got snagged on me when I was using Astamon, then another came up behind it and stopped too

Then when I moved they just... stayed there. So I left the area and came back, thinking they would reset. They did start moving again, but those two kept making the loop around town together.

Which is interesting, because it means the CatchMamemon you see floating above the streets don't despawn and respawn like I thought they did; they apparently spawn once, and it's the same models looping around the path over and over.

Carrying the same crates around and around with no destination. Endlessly. No wonder that one in the Outer Dungeon was begging to be released.

But instead of getting hung up when you stand on the bridge, they're supposed to dodge you. Which is really cute.

...I wonder what's in those crates and who's making those poor babies haul them.

Kind of interesting, her eyes are visible behind her sunglasses. (So are SuperStarmon's, but he wears sunglasses "to conceal his identity because he's a superstar" 😂)
