IT'S FINALLY HERE!!

My commentary on the brothers from the video description:

The Shigaraki brothers are so special to me because there is SO MUCH to unpack. Their life is full of tragedy, and we all know I'm a sucker for tragedy and angst! The first scene (when they're children) takes place during a time in my backstory for them when they were taken in by a farmer and, for a small while, they got to experience a semblance of normalcy. They got nice clothes, a nice home, and they could be happy. It only lasted a short while, but it was the happiest they (especially Yoichi) had ever been. AFO's (Zen's) obsession with Yoichi is also so heart-wrenching to me. Yoichi was the only thing he could really call HIS, but he took it too far and ended up driving Yoichi away. But he just couldn't let go, because he believed Yoichi belonged to him, and him alone. Yoichi was all that truly mattered to him. From their conception to their end, their very last moment together, his life revolved around Yoichi, and in a way, Yoichi's around Zen. They were tied to each other in birth and death.

The animation is fantastic,it was so touching, thanks for this content! I imagine it took a lot of work.

It's always nice to see new things about them and on their complicated but super interesting, tragic and touching relationship.

I'm crying right now. I miss them so much and I wish I had more information about their past.

AAAHHH Thank you so much!! This was an absolute PAIN, I'll tell you that, LOL! My laptop was so mad at me near the end.

I'm always happy to provide! I love being silly about Zen's obsession sometimes but gosh, there is SOOOO much to unpack, and it's such a shame that we got so little on their past. I definitely want to touch more on my backstory for them and make a fic series about it. I'd also LOVE to touch on their teenage years too because we got SO little of that, and I feel like that was also a really important time in their life, given that that's when Zen killed the glowing child.

SPECIFICALLY, it would've been really great to see how Zen got from street rat to big shot yakuza CEO living it up in a pent house in the middle of a ruined city. I'm adopting Mars's headccanon on how that happened, because it makes so much sense and I love it so much, but man it would've been nice to see their backstory expanded on more in canon.

Awe well... more ingredients for us!
