This is the CC collecting side blog to the Great British Sim Challenge. If you’re looking to find out more about the challenge, visit the main tumblr here.
This is the place for all your CC needs for the different eras of that challenge: starting in the Iron Age and ending in the 2000s. You can access an Era directory here.
If you have CC or have found CC that could work for one of the eras, please tag us or submit to the blog so we can add it!

Hear ye, hear ye! Calling all lords, knights, & squires! Want to show off your sim's house pride for the ongoing tourney? Be ye participant or observer, look no further!
Made especially for The Crownlands Challenge, this recolor features house coats of arms for 20 different westerosi houses!
There are two versions of this recolor. One is the original mesh & the other is a simple mesh edit that removes the fur at the neckline - which I used previously in my Prince of Florin recolor.

Updating my old Renaissance CC.
On a surface level, there is almost nothing new – the textures are the same, the shape is the same. But I made changes to the uv_0 and maps that allow me to feel better about this dress. In conclusion, it might be an ugly child, but it's my ugly child, from the times of my first meshes and textures. And I am still fond of it.
Anyway, what was previously "1400s_girl_dress_Maddalena" is now "1400s_dress_c", and I deleted the old version.
Secondly: Since none of the invisible crib mods already out there (for years and years) seem to work in my game anymore, I decided to simply create my own — base game compatible. Now it works like a charm and maybe just at this moment you're like "Uh, fresh new 2025 invisible crib mod, let's try this out~" (◕ω◕✿)
This mod replaces the two depressed looking base game cribs "Rock-A-Bye Bassinet" and "WickedWork Bassinet" with an invisible crib. These two are important, because the game will choose one of them automatically when your non-occult Sim is giving birth, and you haven't placed a crib yet -> so your Sims baby will get assigned to one of these. It won't affect the cribs from DLCs at all, so you still can use them as you like with this mod. So now you can place your newborn(s) freely. It works fine with CC cribs and CC newborn skins — even with multiple babies (as you can see in the picture above) ♥
❀How to use this mod:
1) Before birth: place your desired CC crib in your Sims home (or no CC crib at all if you want a floating baby).
2) Before birth: place either the now invisible "Rock-A-Bye Bassinet" OR "WickedWork Bassinet" over your (optionally) already placed CC crib. You can decide, which one you get for your baby, it doesn't matter.
3) After birth: your Sims newborn should automatically get assigned to the invisible crib — whether you placed it over a CC crib or not. So now you can move your baby freely and can place a new crib under them whenever you want.
❀Troubleshooting:
If your Sim is stuck while giving birth, and you haven't already placed one of the two base game cribs mentioned above, simply place one of them (or a DLC crib, if you like) and the birth should progress automatically. Repeat for each multiple.

A 55-piece set of build items and decorations in the romanesque style, perfect for a medieval church, monastery or castle.
Hi! This is my first set as a cc creator. I've been working on it for a long time, and I am really happy to finally share it with other people.
The set is inspired by romanesque churches from the early middle ages, especially in Germany such as the cathedrals of Speyer and Mainz. I wanted to capture the thick stone walls and came up with the idea of using two parallel walls in the game to create the illusion of thicker walls. What makes this set unique is the deep windows, which are meant to be placed in pairs on those two parallel walls, opposite each other.
All items have at least two swatches, orange and gray, which are based on Foxbury Stone from the Discover University expansion pack. Therefore, the expansion is required for this set to work. The gray swatch matches Nutter-Butter-1's Foxbury Stone Recolour.
Converted from CK3. There's one dress option with 25 swatches and two accessories in necklaces. There is some clipping in the skirt. Textures are kinda messy for the apron given the little space available.
The 1940s was a decade defined by war and bridal fashions reflected as such. Gone were the sleek gowns inspired by the glamour of the silver screen of the previous decade, instead it was quite common for the entire wedding party to simply wear their best dress or suit. Some brides chose to make a new dress for the occasion, with a color and design that would make it wearable again after the wedding. Wearing the dress of their mother, family member or close friend was another popular option.
Silk and satin were not available as fabric choices during the war, so gowns could be made from rayon, crepe and taffeta instead. After the war white silk parachutes were released for sale back to the public and quickly became a choice material for wedding dresses and bridal lingerie. Gowns were quite simple as trimmings such as lace and tulle were very expensive and not justifiable during such an economically restrictive period.
Bridesmaid dresses were similarly affected by wartime constraints, with the practical choice being a dress that was wearable after the wedding. Light colours and floral prints were the most popular. Like everyday women's fashion, hats and gloves were common finishing touches to an attendant's ensemble. CC links under the cut.

Ludivine's style is the epitome of British mod and French glamour in the mid-1960s, filled with colorful patterns, short skirts, and boots galore. As the muse and main model for Walsh Design, most of Ludivine's clothes are custom-made by her cousin Kit, though always with a personal touch of her own. Even if it means waking hours earlier than normal to straighten her mane of curly hair to fit the latest hairstyles, becoming a fashion icon herself as a rising actress in the French New Wave movement. As expected for a fashionable celebrity, her wardrobe is larger than other lookbooks. Ludivine's looks and style are based a lot on the wonderful Catherine Deneuve. Links and credits under the cut!
Hi! I have two male regency upper-class (maybe middle too, if you use darker colors and the solid waistcoat overlays) suits to share with you all. These can work from the early 1800s to the 1820s. I used mesh pieces from @notsooldmadcatlady and @happylifesims to make this possible
Each suit has 50 swatches, with different cravats and jacket colors and different waistcoat textures. All patterns on the waistcoats are different from one another. You also get a cravat overlay with 30 swatches found in the neck category, a waistcoat overlay with 30 solid swatches found in the piercings section, a buttons overlay found in the left wrist section, and a jacket overlay with 60 swatches found in the right wrist section. I was going to do trouser overlays, but changed my mind, but maybe I'll include some in the future. I've also included the PSDs if anyone wishes to recolor.
Works best as everyday wear or formal and party wear.
Plenty of mixing and matching possibilities and combinations to come up with, here are some on Jack below
As always, please let me know if you have any issues
