My Blessing

Been hurt by a lot of people over the years. Some of it still hurts me some days. But coming home to someone who knows I’m not perfect yet loves me anyway honestly makes none of that matter. We bicker like an old couple. We act like weirdos together. I can take showers with her without feeling uncomfortable with myself. I feel confident when I touch her body not because I’m the greatest at performing but because I know she loves me for me. I’m starting to see my old self that actually had some love for life. She gets mad at me some days and it makes me sad but I know I hurt her heart a little too sometimes. The pain is scary nonetheless a lot of it is because we are sensitive after what we’ve been through in our pasts and we have learned some unhealthy habits from it. But I want to grow and find a way to strengthen our love and better our lives together. She’s worth the challenge of becoming a better person. She is my inspiration and hope. She is my greatest blessing.
