Notes:
While the murders invoke a lot of elements from the first game, the days don't map on at all. However, Junko sets the timer so the mutual killings last the same amount of time.
"Days" typically start around the time of the morning announcement.
Italics indicate that Hinata was not present for the event or that the event was inferred.
There are six optional scenes, indicated in brackets, that you can get if you talk to the right person while in possession of the right gift item.
You can only get Komaeda's first FTE in the first chapter, so if you play later chapters without having spent time with him before, Hinata will refuse to spend time with him.

PROLOGUE
Day 1
Hinata meets everyone in the classroom, which opens up to reveal they're on a tropical island. After some exposition, Hinata passes out.
Introductions with Komaeda and everyone else, with simultaneous exploration of the first island.
Swimming party with Usami. Monokuma interrupts and brings Monobeasts with him. The island life of mutual killing begins.
CHAPTER ONE
Day 2
Monokuma gives Hinata a mission to find the hidden monobears.
First breakfast meeting. From now on, Hinata generally goes to meet the others for breakfast at the restaurant every day possible.
Togami becomes leader.
Countdown timer in Jabberwock Park: 21 days left.
(Replica Sword: Hinata, Souda, Hanamura, Ibuki, and Peko enjoy coconut juice at the beach.)
FTE #1. You can't spend time with Kuzuryuu this chapter. If you want to pursue Komaeda's hope shards while playing linearly, you must hang out with him today.
FTE #2.
Comedy routine at Jabberwock Park. Monokuma reveals Monomi stole everyone's memories, and there is a traitor among the students.
First motive: They will get their memories back if they kill each other.
Day 3
Komaeda sends a letter to Twogami warning him about a murder this night.
Twogami orders everyone to attend a mandatory party. Komaeda arranges to clean up the old building on the hotel grounds while Hanamura is set to cook.
(An An Aan: Koizumi holds a girls-only party for making desserts. Hinata is invited if he has the magazine, but Koizumi kicks him out after he helps with the prep work.)
FTE #3. You can't hang out with Komaeda or Hanamura today.
FTE #4
Hanamura notices Komaeda setting up the murder and decides to kill Komaeda instead.
Party time. Kuzuryuu doesn't attend. Chiaki and Monomi guard the entrance against Monokuma. Peko is assigned to guard the weapons case in the office, but gastrointestinal problems force her to hog the bathroom instead.
Blackout. Komaeda goes for his knife but is stopped by Twogami. Hanamura kills Twogami with the iron skewer.
Investigation for the first trial.
First class trial
Countdown timer: 19 days.
CHAPTER TWO
Day 4
Monomi destroys the first Monobeast.
Souda and Nidai tie up Komaeda.
Breakfast. Kuzuryuu does not attend. Koizumi volunteers to help Saionji with her obi.
(Man's Nut: Saionji and Koizumi bathe together.)
Peko tells Kuzuryuu that the second island has opened up.
Exploration of the second island. Nanami investigates the ruins by herself, and after the investigation, calls everyone to report her findings. Monokuma brings up the idea that "World Ender" is behind this island life.
Day 5
Nidai and Souda admit they tied up Komaeda.
FTE #5. You can't spend time with Kuzuryuu or Komaeda this chapter.
FTE #6
Second motive: Twilight Syndrome
Kuzuryuu beats Twilight Syndrome and receives the envelope with the winning prize.
Day 6
Koizumi brings rice to Komaeda, but is rebuffed. He convinces her to play Twilight Syndrome.
Hinata encounters Kuzuryuu, who is in a bad mood and has the envelope.
Kuzuryuu gives Koizumi the ending prize with a letter demanding she play the game and remember what she did.
Koizumi makes Hinata bring Komaeda some toast. After Komaeda's taunting, Hinata leaves in a bad mood, without feeding Komaeda.
FTE #7
Koizumi plays Twilight Syndrome.
FTE #8
Chiaki plays Twilight Syndrome.
Sonia invites the girls to a beach party. Souda overhears.
Hinata plays Day 2 and 4 of Twilight Syndrome.
Day 7
Koizumi doesn't attend breakfast. Souda insists Hinata come meet him at 2:30.
Koizumi tries to invite the other Twilight Syndrome characters, but only Saionji will go with her.
FTE #9. You can't leave the first island, so you can't hang out with Pekoyama, Ibuki, Tsumiki, Saionji, Koizumi, or Souda.
Peko and Kuzuryuu prepare Koizumi's murder. Saionji is drugged to sleep and shoved into the closet.
Hinata and Souda go to the diner to crash the girls' beach party.
Kuzuryuu confronts Koizumi. She tells him he was wrong to avenge her sister, so he moves to kill her, but Peko interrupts and kills Koizumi instead.
The beach party girls arrive, but before the party starts, Souda finds Koizumi's body.
Investigation for the second trial. Monomi frees Komaeda.
Second class trial
Kuzuryuu interferes with Peko's execution and gets injured. He is taken to the hospital.
Countdown timer: 15 days left.
CHAPTER THREE
Day 8
Monomi defeats the second Monobeast.
Saionji's memorial for Koizumi horrifies everyone.
Exploration of the third island. Hinata refuses to watch Monokuma's movie. Kuzuryuu is found in the hospital.

Day 9

Akane fights Monokuma. Nidai sacrifices himself to protect her.
Overnight, Akane, Komaeda, and Ibuki contract despair disease.
Day 11
Akane, Komaeda, and Ibuki have despair disease. They are quarantined in the hospital with Mikan looking after them. Hinata and Kuzuryuu will help Mikan while the others stay at the motel.
Saionji locks herself up in her room after taking a shower but being unable to tie her obi.
Souda sets up two security camera/monitor sets.
Hinata rests in the on-call room. Mikan sleeps on top of him, waking him up.
Komaeda is apparently dying, so Mikan dedicates herself to taking care of him.
Day 12
Komaeda is getting worse.
Sonia suggests that Saionji use the full-length mirror in the music venue to tie her obi.
Hinata and Kuzuryuu are powerless to do anything and can only wait for time to pass.
Hinata has a dream about classmates saying he paid to get into Hope's Peak Academy.
Mikan contracts despair disease. She sets up the murder for Ibuki. Saionji comes in to tie her obi. Mikan kills Saionji and Ibuki.
Day 13
Mikan sets up her alibi by faking Ibuki's suicide.
Hinata finds Ibuki's body.
Mikan finishes the setup for the murder scene.
Hinata and his fellow witnesses find Ibuki and Saionji's body.
Investigation for the third trial.
Third class trial
Nidai returns.
Countdown timer: 9 days left
CHAPTER FOUR
Day 14
Monomi defeats the third Monobeast.
Exploration of the fourth island.
Everyone gets trapped in the Funhouse. Monokuma declares they can escape when a murder occurs.

The students learn they won't get food until a murder occurs.
Day 15
FTE #14. Chiaki and Sonia won't hang out this chapter.

Gundam kills Nidai.
At five minutes to nine, Hinata wakes up and goes to Monokuma Tai Chi. Body discovery for Nidai.
Investigation for the fourth trial. Komaeda goes to the Final Dead Room and gets the student profiles and discovers Hinata has no talent, and the students are all SHSL Despair.

CHAPTER FIVE
Day 18
Souda builds a mini-Nidai.
Monomi defeats the fourth Monobeast.
Hinata reveals he has no talent. No one else cares.
Exploration of the fifth island.
Kuzuryuu gathers everyone to discuss the traitor and Future Foundation. Komaeda interrupts and makes it clear he intends to commit a murder.
Day 19
Souda makes a plan to tie up Komaeda.
Hinata and Sonia explore the ruins.
FTE #19. You can't hang out with Komaeda this chapter.
FTE #20
Komaeda invites Hinata to the trap everyone set up for Komaeda.
Explosion in the hotel lobby. Komaeda claims he'll kill everyone on the island if the traitor doesn't reveal themself in two days.
Day 20
The students search the island for the bombs.
Sonia tries to blow the door to the ruins with the bombs from the military base, but the bombs are fakes.
Komaeda prepares his murder and the fake bombs.
Day 21
Akane tries to strangle Komaeda.
The students search around the islands to search for the bomb.
Sonia goes to the military base and realises Koameda used the fake bombs, nbd.
Kuzuryuu finds the bombs in the Monokuma factory.
Komaeda sets up his murder scene.
The students gather at the factory to see the bomb and Komaeda's video message. The bomb goes off.
Komaeda's suicide plot goes off. They find his body.
Investigation for the fifth trial.
Fifth class trial
Monokuma declares the five students have the right to graduate when the countdown ends.
Day 22
Hinata sleeps in all day.
Countdown timer: 0 days left (but with a few hours)
Day 23
The game glitches.
Video message from Komaeda, giving them the password: 11037
The students enter the ruins. The countdown timer reaches 0. The world falls apart.
