Question: what do yāall use for tack trunks?
http://m.homedepot.com/p/Husky-37-in-Mobile-Job-Box-209261/203668066
I use this. I love it because itās a lot bigger than most tack trucks designed for equestrians, is completely sealed against water and dust, has a handle and wheels for easy transport, and is incredibly inexpensive comparatively. Iāve got my helmet, riding boots, chaps, helmet, grooming supplies, two saddle pads, and assorted horse boots in there, and is not even half full.
YESSS
Someone in my barn has something very similar to this and Iāve been hunting for it⦠Iām glad other people are using them too - they look like a much better alternative to the significantly more expensiveĀ āactualā tack trunks. Ā
Out of thirty stalls at my barn, all but three boarders use something like this. I really don't understand people that knowingly pay twice as much for half the space/features. Also, if you want to make it fancy, one of Dover's tack truck covers (the bandage top? I think?) fit perfectly.

*some vegan rando who has never owned a cat before:* donāt put your cats outside! Having an outdoor cat is animal cruelty! Cats are not meant to live outside, why donāt dogs live outside?? If your cat lives outdoors then you are a horrible cat owner!!
*me*: okayā¦. Anyways⦠u ever thought about actually caring for an outdoor cat? Try again
You guys seeing this?
Hello @sonik-the-hedgehog, Iām a member of the community on Tumblr known as āvulture culture.ā While some members of our little flock are vegan, largely we arenāt, and it makes sense that we arenāt, because you see, āVulture Cultureā is dedicated to the preservation, cleaning and crafting with animal remains. Most notably, bones, pelts, claws and teeth.
Do you know what happens to a lot of free roaming feral or outdoor cats? They come to us. They come to us as corpses.
Itās a pretty common theme in the vulture culture community, to the point where some of our informative posts have such features as āHow to find out if the dead cat you found has an ownerā or āhow long you should wait before giving up and processing the corpse to collect the skullā or the legalities of buying, selling, or crafting with the skulls or pelts of salvaged dead cats. A good portion of us vultures have cat skulls on our shelves. And the vast, overwhelming majority of those cat skulls has been picked up by the road.
Not from a cat thatās died peacefully of old age, but from a cat that crossed the road at the wrong time, or a cat that came up on the wrong side of a larger predator, or a cat that died of exposure to the elements, or a cat that succumbed to a lingering disease.
You see, when you allow your cat to live like a wild animal, youāre also opening the door for your cat to DIE like a wild animal, and wild animals donāt have warm safe beds or bandages or pain killers. Wild animals struggle for days or even weeks on a bloody stump of an injured limb. Wild animals hide under porches and die alone where nobody finds them until they begin to smell. Even more wild animals simply disappear, and are absorbed by the landscape until thereās not a single little shred of evidence they ever even existed.
Iāve found such a cat myself! Itās dessicated skin and bleached bones sat, rather tellingly, right outside of an old fox den. Now, itās impossible to say if the foxes killed the cat, or only scavenged it already dead, or if the cat was merely injured and tired and took shelter in the fox den of its own accord. But it was also impossible to tell whose cat it was, if it had a family or anyone that loved it. Even if it were male or female. Itās identity was erased and anyone who ever had any hope of finding it again will never, ever see it again. Itās sleeping in the fox den to this very day.
Maybe when itās rotted down a bit more Iāll go look for it again. Iāll pick it up in a little bag and take it home and clean it up with peroxide and hot water. When itās clean maybe Iāll give it a nickname like āSamā or āMacavityā and Iāll put it on my shelf. Iāll take care of the kitty for years to come, like its former owner couldnāt. Iāll keep it clean and warm and safe on a shelf, like it wasnāt kept while it lived. And kitty will be an indoor kitty far too late for it to ever matter.
Your outdoor cats come to us eventually, and weāll gladly take care of them forever.

No (Or: Anakin Skywalker in Ten Steps)
1. When heās eight years old he decides that freedom means never having to say āYes Masterā or any variation thereof again.
2. Two days later, he starts counting. In one day, he says it 13 times. Kitster says he said it 16 times, and Anakin wonders if thatās worse, or just more of the same.
3. When the Jedi comes, Anakin calls him āsir.ā He hates that word, too, but heās learned the hard way that itās safer. The Jedi doesnāt correct him.
4. Even so, for a few days after leaving Tatooine he almost believes heās free. Heās off planet (and thatās where all the freed people go, isnāt it?), and in a starship, and heās going to be a Jedi. Heās heard a lot of stories about the Jedi, but none of them say theyāre slaves.
5. He was wrong, though. He has to call all the Jedi āMaster,ā and there are rules to follow, and they cut his hair and dress him and tell him where to go and how to behave and what to do. Master Obi-Wan tries to explain the difference, but he canāt see it, so he doesnāt understand.
He chafes, but never too much. Heās always known just how far he can push, and no further.
6. By the time heās nineteen years old, and in love, heās said āYes Masterā 22,753 times.
7. PadmĆ© is upset that they have to hide their wedding, that it has to be private and unshareable. She pretends that it doesnāt bother her so much, and in return he pretends that it does bother him, too.
It doesnāt, though. On Tatooine, all slave marriages are like this. Heās always known he would get married this way.
8. Heās going to be a father, and heās joyful and giddy and terrified. (Heās now said āYes Masterā 35,802 times.)
Thereās a corner of his mind that repeats the old Tatooine law like a mantra. Children follow the mother. His child will be free.
9. Thereās something to be said, he thinks, for choosing oneās own master. Or at least having the illusion of choice. Heās now said āYes Masterā 35,998 times, and as he kneels before Palpatine, he could almost believe this is what heās always wanted.
10. Luke is twenty-four years old, whole, and beautiful, and heās never said āYes Masterā in his life. Vader doesnāt know this empirically, of course, but he knows it all the same. The slave can always recognize the free man.
Itās not until Luke lifts away his mask and looks at him with desert blue eyes that Anakin realizes heās said āNoā for the very first time.
This is exactly what I was talking about, this whole ācursed roleā thing surrounding The Joker, all of it stemming from Heathās death. I see posts like this every day in the Heath tag and thereās a few things Iād like to get off my chest.
Heath writing the infamous Joker journal is a prime example of method acting, nothing more, nothing less. In an interview not too long before Heathās death, he told Empire magazine āI sat around in a hotel room in London for about a month, locked myself away, formed a little diary and experimented with voices ā it was important to try to find a somewhat iconic voice and laugh.ā It wasnāt about him being consumed by the role, it was more about him establishing his own interpretation of an already established and iconic character. Heath isnāt the only actor to utilize method acting in order to submerse himself into a role. No one questioned Daniel Day-Lewisās mental stability after living as Abraham Lincoln for the entire duration of filming or insisting on only eating meat he killed himself for Last of the Mohicans.
People like to use what Jack Nicholson said to a paparazzi as a credible source. He said it in passing and probably facetiously. If he was really serious, would he have laughed about it? And just as an aside, why the hell would Heath go to Nicholson for advice about the role anyway? He never once stated that Nicholson was an inspiration for the role in any way. If anything, heād want to distance himself from an already established portrayal of The Joker.
Everybody forgets Heath went on to do The Imaginarium of Doctor Panassus after The Dark Knight. Filming for The Dark Knight had been completed months before his death and he was already on to other roles and bigger opportunities. He wasnāt stuck on the character, he had moved on.
The Joker role didnāt drive Heath crazy. It seems reductive to say what happened to Heath happened because of the character. What happened was an unfortunate accident, not the result of being tormented by this so called āinsanityā after portraying The Joker. The medications Heath was taking were for conditions that had been around long before he was The Joker and for illnesses after the role. It sucks that he is plagued with āsuicideā over his name just because itās more fitting to the media. The media is pushing the idea of this cursed role as a selling point. This is obviously a publicity stunt released to get everyone worked up about how ādarkā Letoās Joker is going to be. Itās tasteless how people are comparing this to Heathās death when they are not related. I canāt believe people continue to perpetuate this myth over the real explanation. The treatment towards Letoās portrayal would not be happening without the Heath ācautionary taleā bullshit preceding it.
Jared Leto is not being haunted by this role, heās just being an asshole.
how dare that asshole mention heath in the same post as leto

me: *deletes fucking everything off my phone*
phone: your storage is almost full
When you delete things off of a mobile device (like a phone or digital camera), the file goes to your phoneās recycle bin (just like on a desktop computer or laptop), typically an invisible folder named .trashes or .trash. There, it continues to take up the same amount of memory storage as it did before you ādeletedā it. To empty your mobile deviceās recycling bin, plug your phone into your desktop or laptop via USB as a memory device, right click on your desktop/laptopās recycling bin/trash, and tell it to empty your recycling bin/empty trash. Your computer will empty all .trash/.trashes folders, including the one on your phone, actually deleting the files permanently this time, freeing up your phone/cameraās memory space. Reblog to save a life.
(I know this works on MAC with my Andriod, itās not too far a stretch to do the same on Windows and/or with other phones as well. In fact, it should be easier to do on Windows since Windows Explorer is more conducive to finding hidden folders.)
