What kind of pencil do you use for your art? It looks like a charcoal one but im not certain. Your use of light and dark is incredible with how you can wield delicate light and deep, confident dark in one image. I will learn how

Mechanical pencils generally, 0.3mm (HB, B), 0.5mm (B, 2B) and 0.9mm (2B). I use the 0.3mm for the lighter parts, light sources or light reflections, the 0.5mm for intermediate value and the 0.9mm for dark areas. To darken certain areas even more I have two methods, at the very beginning of the drawing I mark the darkest values with charcoal sticks or after drawing with the mechanical pencils, or I use a classic graphite pencils over the 6B.
