i’m very happy that Zar feels comfortable enough to post their fics again, and i’m excited to continue reading Crimson Rivers.

i stopped reading when it was taken down. yes, i could’ve just asked a friend for a downloaded copy but it made me feel uncomfortable knowing that Zar took his fics down for a reason, i felt it wouldn’t be enjoyable to read knowing that.

i’m not saying that everyone that has and read a downloaded copy of his fics is in the wrong for that, but those that were sharing the downloaded copies in an extremely public place and across social media just made me think: this is defeating the objective.

i hope everyone uses this to learn that Zar and other fic writers should be treated with respect and their decisions should not feel like an attack on people. Zar made the choice to hide his fics, and now he’s made the choice to post them again; no one is entitled to the benefits of other’s decisions except the person making the decision.

you do not get to complain about what measures people take to make themselves comfortable.
