shangqi’s back scars.   this is kind of how i picture shangqi’s scars. i think his are less prominent, they’re more white and settled in his skin / more healed. the amount is a mix between the two images, he has quite a few, but they aren’t all over / they’re more condensed in certain areas. these are from where the ten rings men whipped him with sticks as training when he was a child. he’s not insecure about them, per se, but he doesn’t like looking at them. they’re a reminder of what he went through. other people seeing them makes him slightly uncomfortable, depending on who it is and what their relationship is.
