Those scenes when the marquis part of Xie Zheng comes out is just amazing. You can feel it with his aura, his way of standing. He is there adnorded in fur, looking badass as hell, hatred in his eyes.. You can see him trying to you know hold on and not commit murder.

You can truly see only with his gaze the rage that is boiling within him

Pursuit of Jade was awesome. Took over my entire month of March. Not sure if it will end up being my favorite of the year but it’s definitely gonna be in the top 3.

I'm really liking these high perspective/birds eye view shots we keep getting. They're pretty, obviously, but also they feel linked a little to how He Simu views the world. From an unusual angle, from a viewpoint most people won't get to see, in a way that makes everyone involved look small and distant, like pieces on a board rather than individuals.

They also evoke her because of how often we see her perched in a high place just observing, so I think we associate her with this kind of perspective. Hope it's something we keep getting through the rest of the series!
