Of course in the aftermath of the terrible terrorist attacks in Paris, there's an even stronger fervor to prevent Syrian refugees across U.S. Borders. However, the reasons for preventing this have not changed. Innocent American lives over innocent Syrian lives. I don't believe people claiming this believe such a thing as an innocent Muslim exists, and it's sad and ignorant. Others don't even hide their ignorance, and ALL forget that such a thing as radical Christian groups exist. Radical Christian groups for whatever reason are unable or unwilling to organize in the same way radical Muslims resulting in 0 American radical Christian groups carrying out terrorist plots on foreign soil. They are, however, just as ignorant and racist as their Muslim counterparts. I'm going to use however again. However, everyone forgets about April 19, 1995. The worst DOMESTIC terrorist attack claimed 168 lives in Oklahoma City. This isn't a numbers game, but it closely matches the poor lives lost in Paris. The attack was carried out by men with close ties to CSA - the Covenant, Sword, and the Arm, a radical Christian hate group. It was devastating. The reasons behind the attack do not mirror those in Paris or even Beirut, other than the common thread of hate. I think we have all lost sight that hate is the true enemy, and it wears many faces. Hate's best friend is fear. By denying refugees any aid we only firm up their reasons for hating us. As Christians, if you are Christian, you also blatantly ignore WWJD. It doesn't take much, you know exactly what he'd do. He'd welcome all the refugees with open arms. It's hard. Living faithfully is damn near impossible, there are so many selfish needs and desires that come second nature. Putting others first is a challenge, it's why only so few become saints. Yes, personal safety is selfish. The last though I want to leave you all with is how we ended up here in the first place. We, the Western world including Britain, Germany, France, Belgium and so on did this when we tried to carve out pieces of the world not already our own for ourselves. We got involved in other countries' business, got greedy and power hungry. I'm afraid it's too late to undo it, so we will continue to be vulnerable to terrorism, we will continue to fight and go to war. There will be no peace in my lifetime of my future children's lifetime. This in no way places blame on the victims in Paris or the victims of any terrorist attack. By and large, without truly likeminded goals, there's no way to bring the world together and prevent attacks like this. We most of us have good, kind hearts and wish for peace for all, but our kind hearts still differ from one another. And, rather importantly, Dr. Who is just a fairy tale. If only the people who actually have control of either side of this heated war (yes, war) were actually interested in talking and listening, we could see peace. But unfortunately, as I said, the Doctor is just a fairy tale hero. I hope this in some way makes sense. My heart aches for Paris, Beirut, the living casualties of this war (refugees, and yes, war), and all the victims of terrorism.
In the actual submitted story, they included that the character who demanded to fight the dragon actually did fight the dragon, and that the dragon killed him. I would’ve included that, but I didn’t want the comic to drag on. :D

Credit to Matt Wuerker. I have to post this here because I'd rather not argue with my family, but there's too much painful accuracy in this cartoon.
My parents have been divorced for 15+ years, and it's the most complicated and confusing divorce ever. Since divorcing, they have lived together THREE times, each time as roommates, each with their own sleeping spaces. The most recent ended after 6 years, my dad's retirement, and with the many-times heard phrases, "I remember why I divorced him," and "don't expect him to move back in here again!" The last one is thrown out like it was mine or my siblings idea that she invite him to move back in. This time my mom also threw out that she wants almost nothing to do with him, that there is no friendship and animosity left...but so far she's offered to go furniture shopping with him and complained that he hadn't invited her over to see his new condo. She kicked him out...what is this? My dad isn't helping either. He bought a new car and took it to her house to show it off. They and my little sister all went to dinner to celebrate. I'm so confused. I thought my mom wanted nothing to do with my dad, and my dad knows this, but still lives like he's trying not to anger her.
Now would be a good time to admit my fear of slides, or at least big ones like at the water park or amusement park.

WHY DID YOU DO THIS
Sometimes you can feel awesome, like you did the right, adult and responsible thing, only to find out, no.
That moment you realize your 3DS SD card is full...of 3000+ pics of Animal Crossing...
Sometimes I feel like the world is just as divided between Fifty Shades of Grey fans and critics in much the same way as it was over a dress that may have been white and gold or blue and black. However, at the end of the day, someone is wrong and abuse is most certainly abuse.
