It's National Reading Month! Compiled some pictures of me reading to others. Some of them were taken back when I was still in college, during my practicum and org days. While some were taken just few months ago. I remember I've always felt anxious everytime teachers assign me to lead Story Time. I don't know, it just felt like so much work and children are counting on you. It's like when you tell the story wrong, you ruin their childhood. You tell the story right, you make their childhood magical. But then I guess that's the beauty of telling stories. It's all about creative execution. The goal is to make the children's faces light up because you said something cool, or weird, or amusing, or even scary. The goal is to make them want to pick up and read that same book even after you read it just because they simply enjoyed it. Now that I'm a preschool teacher, I realized that by achieving these goals every single day, I'm not only teaching my students important concepts but also helping them become lifelong readers. 📖⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ #nationalreadingmonth
