Was it ever about the cereal? as a 90's kid the morning to me and to most meant waking up early, still half asleep to a box of wheetos and digging through cereal to find another troll to add to the collection before going to school.
Whether your hippo's were well fed or starving you would remember playing this game at a friend's birthday party as a kid or just any occasion that required kid tantrum control
You knew just which game to get when you saw the Ocean logo on the cover of any major upcoming title that had just been released that week.
Ocean was a British software development company that became one of the biggest European video game developers/publishers of the 1980s and 1990s.
Ahhh, to be a kid again, when the hardest decision of the day was what ice-cream you were going to pick from the sun-faded ice-cream board at your local shop.
Which was your favourite? :D
Every kid from the 90's had one of these little things in their pocket at some point, also every 90's kid remembers the mini heart attack they had the first time their pet companion died before discovering the small reset button at the back of their Tamagochi, Giga Pet or Nano Baby
Remember lugging this thing around with you on a Saturday night dinner with your parents as an alternative to playing napkin OXO?
True 90's kids should all be familiar with time spent in the play ground trading these during recess and arguing over whether it was fair or not to play with the metal slammers.
If you remember all this clearly you should also remember making your very own pogs as if you were sewing garments all day in a sweatshop with the milk cap maker in the last image.
Does anyone remember how awesome these boxes used to smell even after the tape finished? The smell of artificial bubbly goodness used to seep into any item stored within that box for more than 2 hours.
Does anyone remember this thing?
If you remember playing with meccano, scalextrics and ninja turtle figures as a kid you should remember making balloon creations with this thing on a boring Sunday afternoon.
I think some of these toys should be revived in today’s generation.
