Did Grant just feel like Barry winking at Caitlin was the proper thing to do or was he teasing us? I felt like the wink and the smile were a little bit out of context because they came out as flirtatious.. Which is a thing I’ve noticed, how they subconsciously flirt with each other (1x05, 1x12, 2x05), even if it is a little out of context. Plus, on the 1x12 episode, when Caitlin enters the room he immediately gets up with a smile (paralleling the 1x09 episode). Wonder when will these two realize that they don’t behave around each other exactly as ‘just friends’ would.

The wind howled as the sounds of wolves screams rattled through an uncharacteristically cold autumn night The full moon glistened over the river that a little boy was crossing .he skipped across the pebbles effortlessly as if playing in tune with a game holding out his right arm to steady himself as he balanced on the smaller rocks that scattered along the river surface while a small woven basket hung purposefully from his left .

A death curdling scream broke the silence of the once peaceful night Niklaus mikaelson twisted and turned in his dreamless state ,screaming profanities ;causing his sleeping wife to startle awake when he kneed her in the gut! “klaus ” cooed cami gently in an attempt to wake her sleeping husband and end his torture . But her too quiet pleas were drowned out by the sound of his tormented howling The original hybrid continued to yell at the top of his werewolf lungs , howling into the night for all to hear his suffering and in that moment she began to wonder what it was like for the neighbors to hear the sound of a wolf howling coming from inside the mansion … Suddenly Panicked by the thought of a mundane coming to investigate she began to shake his shouders more frantically chanting louder “klaus . Klaus!” Her mantra was abruptly interrupted by the sound of the bedroom chambers door being literally ripped of its hinges by supernatural force allowing way for a rather cranky werewolf queen to storm into the room “what’s the racket ?!” She winced holding a hand to her forehead to nurse a throbbing headache before taking notice of the banshee that had interuppted her slumber “ugghh not again ” sighed Hayley as she took a seat on the bed shifting the original hybrid’s upper body to lay on her lap , slightly rocking him , and leaning down to whisper in his ears “just a dream” she mumbled while pressing her lips gently to the top of her brother-in-law’s forehead The gesture seemed so intimate that cami herself felt as if she were the intruder in the moment instead of the other way around the word “ again” kept ringing in her mind tormenting her with insecurities had this happened before ? How did she not notice ? All those mornings she found them doing something as simple as watching their favorite tv show together Was Hayley Making him feel better on these troubled nights without her knowledge. We’re they going behind her back ? A certain jealousy towards the younger woman had began to bubble in her causing her to jostle in bed but any insecurities of her “sister” having any alterior motives were squashed when The younger hybrid met her gaze with a tired sincere smile . “Family above all” she reminded herself suppressing the gnawing feeling of doubt she looked at Hayley curiously “again? What do you mean again?!” The hybrid threw her head back in exasperation “seriously ?! ” she face palmed I swear for a bloodline of supernatural creatures with supernatural hearing. This is the by far the most deaf family in existence!!! He’s been yelling in his sleep for over 3 months and nobody noticed because everybody in this house sleeps as if they’re dead . “ the blonde had to chuckle at the irony of the statement she looked at Hayley through narrow eyes "you did that on purpose ” she said while lightly whacking her sister in law on the shoulder the two laughed together until a knock at the door grabbed their attention “would you please keep it down some of us have supernatural hearing ” moaned hayley’s son Nathan “See! Now, you can tell that one’s is MINE!” She claimed while wildly gesturing to the 23 year old Nathaniel was hope’s younger brother of 4 years. the end result of a moment of weakness and no less than 10 (so they had claimed )bottles of bourbon . “Go back to bed sweetie ! Daddy is just having ANOTHER nightmare ” the younger original shook his head in understanding “Not again !!! ” he whined “I still have not caught up beauty sleep from last month. Very well. Would you like me to unhook the playstation from the system?! So you guys can continue watching your marathon ?” “Hope forgot to take it off again? ” pressed his mother in a fed up tone punctuating the obvious statement with a roll of her eyes and disapproving shake of her head “Speaking of hope She’s right next door Shouldn’t she have awoken too?” Asked cami. “Nope! ” Nathan rolled his eyes (no doubt a trait he had inherited from his mother) my annoying older sister has the “mikaelson” gene . “Hey mister shouldn’t you be studying for your test tomorrow ?” Croaked klaus causing the two woman to jump a foot In the air “morning little wolf. Morning dear. ” he stirred in her lap “Damnit klaus” exclaimed Hayley “are you trying make our children orphans and our spouses widow ?” KlAus looked up at her raising an eyebrow “ orphans ? Now little wolf how in the world would the original hybrids be left orphaned by a morning greeting ?” She glared back at his smirking form “Well , their mother would die of a heart attack and in her death she shall haunt their egotistical father to torment until such time the only way to end his cruel suffering pain and misery would be to kill himself by driving a platinum sword through his heart …” Klaus beamed at his partner in crime with a twisted sense of pride “that is rather descriptive love ”. “ well, a queen never leaves anything to chance ” she mocked back “ Nathan flopped down next to his parents "helloooo??? movie or not ? I need to go back to bed ” klaus looked apologetically at his son “ I think your mother needs to rest between the two of us we’ve been keeping her up for one too many nights ”. “Nah it’s ok ” chimed Hayley “if I don’t take care of the big babies, who will? Everybody else sleeps like the dead"she dead panned. Cami looked at her quizically "you’re marathoning THE FLASH aren’t you ?” “Yes …. What gave it away” chuckled Hayley “You got that look in your eyes plus that’s the only man that could successfully keep you awake at night” cami teased with a wink “uggghhh you got me ”

The next morning Elijah awoke to quite a scene chips packets , chocolate wrappers and it looks like somewhere in New Orleans a restaurant was missing a compelled chef three were gourmet dishes enough to end world hunger for the next millennium in the middle of the mess the original hybrid and werewolf queen lay sprawled on across the couch and each other ;peaceful expressions on their tired faces while they ensured in a dream like state battle for the fuzzy grey blanket that one of his siblings had probably placed on them . The beginnings of my name is “Barry Allen ….” Played in the background and his brother’s favorite anthology was thrown to the side of the couch Elijah shook his head at the habits of his wife and younger brother. The two hybrids were most definitely the most messy people on the entire planet that he was sure of

Walking into the kitchen he was greeted by older sister trying her hand at making waffles “morning lijah” she greeted with a cheery smile kissing her younger brother on the cheek.Freya wore a blush perplum Blouse , black with light pink lace fitted skirt and lace stilettos her brown locks were left to hang loose and a simple blue crystal hung from her Neck the original witch looked at her brother skeptically “why are you dressed all fancy?” She teased mocking her brother’s always formal attire she could swear that he wasted many a designer suit on vampire killing sprees “ meeting with a client ” he said to her surprise while slightly nudging his sister since the wars had ended the mikaelsons had finally properly move forward not only did they rule the werewolf packs, vampires and witch covens in New Orleans they had also decided to take root by making their mark in the human world running one of the most successful industries to date it was a way to keep them busy and earned them more riches than compelling s nation ever would . Freya looked accusingly at her brother “ the restonsling ? Ugh elijah I told you to remind me about that !!! I’m not even dressed for it yet” Elijah looked at her confused “ you’re in formal attire you’ll be just fine it’s only a client he’s hardly the queen of England sister” the witch scowled at her little brother “let’s hope kol has at least reminded bex” she sighed her theory was proved wrong when no less than 5 minutes later had her younger sister come bounding down the stairs in fuzzy pink butterfly pyjamas she grimaced as she passed the living room ; entering the kitchen chanting “I’m not compelling a maid I’m not compelling a maid , I’m not compelling a … Why are you dressed all fancy?” She stopped abruptly while eying her older sister’s attire “really? ” exclaimed Elijah exasperatedlu throeing his hands up into the air “bex you and kol have a training session with the vampires today ;Freya fin and I have lunch with rettosin and there is board meeting at 3 today.which is … "Which is why Somebody better get Niklaus off that couch and into his ceo chair” freya said cutting off her brother ’s sentence Rebekah just stared at her older siblings with a shocked expression Freya face palmed “ I take it kol neglected to inform you” Rebekah gritted her teeth in annoyancea s she saw her brother enter the kitchen from the corner of her eye “ you can take it he forgot altogether ” kol yawned and rubbed sleep out of his eyes in a way so adorable the eldest original found it hard to be mad at her youngest brother though the same couldn’t be said for the youngest mikaelson sibling Rebekah grabbed the spatula out of her sister’s hand hauling at her youngest older brother’s head “ow! Bex! What was that for ?!” “Felt like it ” said Rebekah as she punctuated each word with a light tap of the spatula to kol’s shoulder blades “you. Forgot. To. Tell. Me . About. The. Meeting .” Kol’s pained expression altered to one of complete horror “that’s today ?!” “Yes ” Freya sipped her tea “Ugghh ” groaned kol “can’t we re schedule ?!” Rebekah glared at her brother “ don’t be ridiculous that is the most….. Actually that’s not a bad idea. Elijah, Freya can we please? ” she said while giving her older the siblings the best puppy dog look an original could muster Elijah sighed “ as long as you get Niklaus and Hayley off that couch by the time we return”. Kol looked at his siblings with a poker face “ I can do that right NOW I swear one of days that mess is going to come to life and start a new supernatural race. Is somebody going to compel a maid or should I do it ? ” no don’t interjected Freya. I would have magic’ it away but these two need to learn the error of their ways and it is not helping if the rest of us clean up for them they need to learn how to do it themselves “There’s no point in that ” said cami as she entered the kitchen “ they’ll just compell a maid themselves ” plucking the maple syrup off the rack she helped herself to one of the carefully plated waffles with strawberries and whipped cream and took a seat next to Elijah Loud muttering could be heard from the living room as Nathan walked around with a trash can disposing of the mess hope rolled her eyes at younger brother’s ocd tendancies “ you do realize you’re a witch. Right?! Nathaniel stared back at his sister with a blank expression "Clean it with a spell , genius !” The youngest original slapped his forehand at his stupidity and with a click of his fingers the mess was cleared “ what time do you reckon they’ll wake up?” Hope giggled “I’ll give them 4 hours. By looks of it they watched 3 .5 seasons of that stupid show”
