"This is some ass..." Diamond mutters to herself.
She sighs as she edits content for her OF on her laptop, stretched out across the couch in the pool house behind Elizabeth and Lion's home. The place was niceโtoo niceโbut it still didn't feel like hers. It felt like a pretty cage.
She shakes her head, still trying to understand what the fuck had happened.
"This nigga was plotting this from the jump. Him and that doofy ass ex-friend of his. Just some plotters forreal, tryna keep a bad bitch down. That's all these niggas do..." Diamond scoffs, clicking her tongue before leaning back into the couch. "But if he wanna be my nigga so bad, then he gone need to be trained, 'cause I don't get run. I do the running."
She lets out a quiet laugh to herself, the kind she did whenever she thought she'd outsmart somebody.
Ever since moving into Elizabeth's and Lion's houseโmore specifically, the pool houseโand everything that had transpired, Elizabeth had gone right back to hating her. Every conversation turned into a brick wall. Elizabeth wouldn't listen to a damn thing Diamond had to say, no matter how many times she explained she didn't ask for any of this.
The only people who actually listened were Jelissa and Amor. They both understood the predicament she was in. Neither of them excused it, but they understood she didn't have much of a choice. Getting Elizabeth to see that, though? That was damn near impossible.
Diamond didn't choose this.
Just like Elizabeth barely had a choice either.
Realistically, Elizabeth had way more freedom than she did, and that told Diamond one thing.
Elizabeth must've home-trained the nigga just a little bit.
A smirk slowly spread across Diamond's face.
"Guess I'ma have to finish the job while she off streaming and building her brand."
She reached for her phone and opened Instagram, tapping over to Dulce's profile. Amor had already introduced the two of them, so getting in contact wasn't hard. They followed each other now, and after meeting in person, Dulce had told Diamond plenty about the men in her family.
But Diamond wasn't looking for plenty.
She wanted the parts people didn't volunteer.
Diamond: Aye... you got a minute?
