you know of his true nature. you know he’s a blood sucking monster. but he wasn’t born that way, so he’s not completely evil. he’s not someone that was sent from the devil to prey on innocent people and eventually get burnt to a crisp— which is a myth, anyway, so it doesn’t apply to him. he’s not going to start burning alive because he’s out during the day.
he appreciates everything you do for him. he appreciates the way you offer yourself up to him. you say it’s a free meal, a way so that he doesn’t have to kill someone in order to get his fill. he usually says no.
usually.
but today he’s in a strange mood. lust is written across his face but it’s a different sort of lust and he seems mad. like he’s had a bad day looking after mooney’s or he’s heard something bad on the news. you’re not sure what it is.
maybe someone found out. or maybe he hasn’t found someone to feed on for days and now he has to finally agree to your offer. but he doesn’t seem reluctant to do it. in fact, he’s excited.
“joe—“ you only manage to get out his name before he’s hoisting you up onto the counter, his hands firmly grabbing your hips and you’re sure that he might snap them because of how hard he’s gripping onto you. it’s like you’re the only thing that he has left.
“need you so bad.” he rasps out, as if he’s dehydrated. and in some way, he is. he’s thirsty for you. and he’ll have you in any way he can.
he locks his lips with your own, grabbing onto your shoulders and pushing you backwards so that you’re leaning backwards, your legs moving to secure themselves around his waist. he doesn’t watch the way that your hands splay across the counter as if you’re trying to keep yourself up.
he’s only focused on how you taste. how you kiss. how you feel against him.
he moves his head away from your lips and his own latch onto your neck, not piercing the skin yet but instead creating those bruises with his mouth by sucking harshly at your flesh.
you moan, and he snaps.
his fangs are penetrating through your flesh and he can feel your blood spill against his mouth and into it as he pushes himself further up against you, completely pushing you against the counter.
it’s not comfortable. but he can’t help himself.
he’s lapping up every single speck of blood that he can taste, relishing in the way your fingers slap onto the back of his neck and dig into his skin, as if you’re returning the favour.
