life sucks at the moment. i can’t afford to stay where i’ve been living so it looks like i’m gonna have to move in with family and they said i can’t bring my cats with me bc they already have two of their own + a dog

i’m talking to some other family members to see if anyone can take them temporarily, but haven’t had any luck so far. i reached out to my dad, but won’t have an answer until tomorrow at the earliest because he has to talk to his wife first. i’m so worried about them. i’ve been crying for the last three days about this. i love my cats so much and it kills me that i won’t be able to keep them

update 11/04:

no one in my family can take them in so i have to find someone else and i’ll probably never get to see them again. i’m completely heartbroken. i can’t do anything but cry. i feel like i’m abandoning them.

one cat got me through my near suicide attempt and the other was my mom’s that i started taking care of after her death. it feels like i’m losing my mom all over again and my depression is getting worse.
