It is, and it’s a classic for a reason! My girlfriend did since she has better taste in music theatre than I do - or better taste in most things, let’s be honest. But indeed, I definitely did and have been humming Seasons of Love to myself ever since. Oh good, we’re both fans of his! He’s amazing, though I always fear the first thing I’ll mention if I ever meet him is that meme. Maybe he’d laugh because he’s used to it. I mean, it’s today’s sign that you’ve made it if you end up a meme, yes? Got it, and you’ve definitely been on the move lately! NYC is such an amazing city to live in, though. I did a while back and it was easily one of the fun periods of my life because never a dull moment in that city. And at least now it’s close enough anytime you feel like a day trip there, you know? I’m the same way. I start out with the most organised intentions, labeling everything, and by the end, it’s whatever will fit in there, no organisation in sight. But plus side, at least every box you open will be a surprise.
Oh, don’t write yourself off that quickly, Bill. I’m sure there’s at least one thing where you have the higher ground when it comes to taste. Well, every musical theater kid finds themselves humming to Seasons of Love every once in a while, so you’re already half-way there. Wait, do you mean the ‘fellow kids’ meme? Or is there another one? Because that’s the only one I can think of straight from the bat -- I’m absolutely terrible with catching up when it comes to that part of the internet culture. Wait, wait, hold the thought... did I hear it right? You actually liked living in NYC? Honestly, this is one of the extremely rare times I hear a non-native praising life there. I mean, people love to come and visit, but after living there for a while they get so grumpy and frustrated. That actually doesn’t sound too bad, then. Let’s hope some of these surprises will be nice, instead of opening a box and finding the most boring things possible in there, pretending to have fun.
