Leaving town was a hard choice for James and it was a lot to navigate with coparenting, but he also knew that to move his career back to the stage, he had to do so. He packed up and made the move to London in order to do so and hasn’t really regretted it, even if he misses all of his friends back in the US. He’s had an unsurprising amount of success and enjoys being able to do theater as often as he wants, but will take any opportunity to visit his old stomping grounds. After marrying again, he decided it was time to think about putting down roots again. In the theater off season, or when taking a break, he also has a home in Glasgow where he happily lives with his elderly cats...those things have cursed him to the end. He still stays in contact with several friends from town (except for Sophie who he begrudgingly has to meet up with whenever she’s around).

No, you’re completely right. Why waste your time eating cake that you aren’t actually interested in eating just because someone says taht it’s the right cake? They’re wrong. Dangerous thought process, there. For right now, I’m okay to be… good-looking. But who knows what the future will hold. Other than fruity drinks by the pool, right now.

That’s a good place to be, right in the middle. I might be a little bit annoying, but as long as I am not the most annoying person that you know, I feel like I’ve done something right, anyway. Honestly, it was a tough run. Gaelyn did better than I did, and Shushka was a great guard dog, but I am very excited to be sleeping in my own bed again tonight, I can tell you that much. Also glad I didn’t become a s'more.

Most of your annoying points come from being annoying to me in particular, mate. Everyone else is...alright with you. Of course Gaelyn did better, she’s at that age where she can sleep anywhere and it makes no difference. There’s still time to become a tasty, tasty s’more. There’s always time.

Until the end of days. We’re gifts to the world, and I think it’s about time that people recognized it, don’t you think? I’m sure that everyone is going to plaster those posters of us everywhere, too. 

When we’re dead and gone, people will say the thing we’re most remembered for is being so humble. They’ll just be like “wow, those were the most humble blokes I’ve ever met in my life.” Because we are, obviously. Yeah, some teenagers will have a poster of us hanging over their bed to get cool points.
