“i’m just her shadow.”
a hot take that shouldn’t have to be repeated on a daily basis
So this may be an unpopular opinion, but I keep seeing posts and asks complaining about the lack of kisses in 2gether the series and I just… Don’t really get where some of you are coming from ? Forgive me because this is about to get long, but I don’t really understand what all the fuss is about, and here’s why :
- First, it shouldn’t be a surprise when you know how GMMTV operates. It’s not like their couples kiss all the time : Look at Dark Blue Kiss, look at SOTUS S, those were both shows were the main pairing was established the entire series and yet there was little kissing.
- This leads me to my second point, which is that Sarawat/Tine have technically only been in an established relationship for 2 episodes… Like can we maybe get some perspective and not act like we’ve been waiting for the kiss forever ?
- My final point, and I think my biggest pet peeve with all of this, is that it kind of seems like for many people kissing = intimacy, or even physicality = intimacy. And that’s just… not true ? We haven’t seen Tine initiating a kiss yet, true. But we’ve been shown through so many different ways the softness, care and intimacy that these two share. Even if you’re only looking at it through a “physical” spectrum : We got so many head pats that I feel like some people don’t really realize how intimate of a gesture it really is, for instance. But further than that, the casual touching these two share ? Like how easily Tine pulled on Sarawat’s hips and thighs when he was trying to get his attention after their drinking game this episode. The touches they shared when they were teasing each other last episode whether that be Tine smacking Sarawat’s bum, Tine basically climbing on Sarawat when he was trying to get to the food, the shenanigans while they were brushing their teeth, the casual way they slept together with one of Sarawat’s legs thrown over one of Tine’s… These are all signs of how physically intimate these two are.
But also I feel like it’s important to note that intimacy and being in a relationship isn’t about the physicality of it all : Tine knowing Sarawat’s favourite foods and drinks, Sarawat noticing how down Tine was last episode and wanting to fix it by praying, Tine wanting to do anything (at personal risk even) to insure their relationship lasts a long time, them being able to share both serious discussions and tease other mercilessly, comforting each other and being there for each other… Those are all signs of how close and intimate these two actually are, how healthy their relationship is and that is in my opinion far more important that seeing a kiss.
Again- I might be in the minority when it comes to this, but I feel like everyone asking when the kiss is going to be kind of reduces their relationship to that only and makes complete abstraction of ALL the rest we’ve been getting. So can we please just : Take a step back, enjoy everything we are already given and wait and see how the last two episodes will go before passing constant judgement ?
This is blocked on YouTube so let me put here my edit 😂
BUT THIS IS THE SWEETEST THING EVER!!!!!!!!!!

Tine’s character analysis
After ep 7 I definitely came to conclusion that TINE HAS pretty LOW SELF-ESTEEM. That, in turn, helped me comprehend WHY HE WAS SOOOO DENSE when it came to Sarawat’s advances. And his character literally blossomed in my books. So here’s my points on that:
1. ‘I’M NOT WORTH YOUR TIME’
He said it twice in only seven episodes. When a person says and even repeats such things, you just know it’s not a coincidence, but a mindset. He said it to both - the guy he has absolutely no affection for (Green) and to the one he kinda has (Wat). You may argue that he said it to Green just to be kind, but did he really have to use this words each time. Physiologically it screams that deep down he thinks he’s not worth much. It brings us to point two.

If you listen to Scrubb’s songs when you’re happy, you will be even happier. If you listen when you’re in love, you will be more deeply in love.
Sarawat’s flirting + Tine’s reaction.
this is how i remember them
Xiao Xingchen: Maybe, because you’re good-looking, you’re used to getting away with things, but I want you to know that your actions have an effect on others, and you are a horrible person, and you not understanding you’re a horrible person doesn’t make you less of a horrible person.
Xue Yang: You think I’m good looking?
I’m sorry but I had to…
