💼 INTRO POST 💼

This is a roleplay/ask blog for one of my favorite characters, Ally McBeal, from the show of the same name. If you don’t know about Ally McBeal, it was a show from the 90s about eccentric lawyers and their personal lives. It hasn’t aged well, but I still really enjoy it. It has some wild moments (in a good way).

Here are some fast facts about my muse, Ally:

Is a lawyer who works in a law firm full of people who are just as weird as her

Has an active imagination, and often sees things that aren’t really there (like dancing babies)

Is obsessed with romance and finding the perfect man (but she is probably bisexual and heavily in denial)

Once tripped a lady at the supermarket over a can of pringles, got arrested, and almost got her license to practice revoked

Hears music in her head and dances to it

Falls down when she is nervous or around somebody she likes

In high school she was voted “Most Likely to be Julie Andrews”

Once got stuck in a toilet

Has a crush on Mr Ed the Talking Horse

Is probably neurodivergent (and I really do mean that)

(I will be setting up an in-character about page on the Tumblr theme!!)

I will try to write for her as best as possible! You should ask her questions, she’s a very interesting and strange character whom I love. I can guarantee that every answer will be entertaining! I may do different verses, haven’t figured it out yet. Still getting the hang of this whole RPing thing!!

I had a random thought about the Ally McBeal video game

The developer and publisher is Fox Interactive Studios.

Let's think about this. In the year 2002, the Ally McBeal video game would be on the Xbox, GameCube, PS2, N64, and the Game Boy Advance.

For the Nintendo 64 (N64) version, the cartridge would be red, like her lipstick, or her iconic red suit in the "Pilot" episode, or on the Ally on Therapy VHS tape.

The genres would be either a platformer, fighting, first person shooter, or a third person shooter game.

The name of the Ally McBeal game: Ally's Hallucinations, Ally's Dreams, Ally McBeal the Video Game, Ally McBeal the Fighting Game, or Ally McBeal vs. The Dancing Baby

So apparently there are video games of the X-Files, Buffy, The Simpsons, King of the Hill, and Family Guy, but no Ally McBeal. That's wrong.

There's confusion about the infamous scene from "Cro-Magnon," the scene where Ally is working on her paperwork, and then she goes to sleep having a dancing baby dream. Ally is wearing her sleep pajamas. Some Ally McBeal guides mention that Ally McBeal wakes up from her dream and sees the dancing baby and then wakes up again. Some say that she's having sleep paralysis, like Hulu says on Facebook or TikTok . That's false on both counts. Ally is not having sleep paralysis from the dancing baby. Ally is not waking up and waking up a second time. Ally's facial confusion disgusted expressions are hilarious. Ally is stressed out and panicking about the dancing baby. Ally McBeal is using work as a way to avoid thinking about the dancing baby. Ally McBeal is having a false awakening dream of the Dancing Baby. Ally is interacting inside the dream. Ally is able to move around while the dancing baby is dancing next to her bed in the dream by using her facial expressions and Ally's eyes. Keep in mind that Ally is still sleeping on the outside. Once the dancing baby is done dancing, Ally wakes up gasping, implying a nightmare or a bad dream. Ally looks around her bed for the dancing baby. He's not there. Before Ally goes to sleep in her bedroom, there's people waking outside, and taxis honking. Ally whispers to herself, "I'm tired." During Ally's false awakening dream, there's no noise except for the chanting and music from "Hooked on a Feeling" from the Dancing Baby in Ally's bedroom. After Ally wakes up from her dancing baby dream, there's a noise from an ambulance. Dogs are barking. Ally is confused about her dream. The strange part of Ally's false awakening dream, Ally doesn't tell anybody about her dream. She doesn't tell Renee, Georgia, Billy, or even John. Ally keeps the dream to herself.

Happy Pride Month from Ally McBeal Fan. Ally McBeal is a bi character. Ally relaxes when she switches to her lesbian side. She doesn't hallucinate the dancing baby. Ally only hallucinates the dancing baby when she's switches to her straight side. She feels stressed and panicky about not having a baby, husband, and marriage.
